The Reverend Piazza shares examples of hope from his life experiences, and encourages homosexuals to openly engage in religious life. Although this book was not written as an argument to change prejudiced people's minds about the "sinfulness" of homosexuality, it does provide a number of talking points for those who want to engage in that sort of dialogue. The chapters "Using the Bible as a Sword" and "Using the Bible as a Shield" are particularly interesting. 195 pages.
