What a lovely companion to teaching children the correct way to recite the Rosary. I found this to be thorough and enjoyable for varied ages. It also gives some background into why we pray the Rosary and the meditations involved. I have used other guides but have found this the best in leading children(age 7 and up)in their love of the Rosary.

This Holy Rosary is really a pack of 10 booklets ... excellent to give as gifts to children or even to adults new to the Catholic faith. A brief and simple story is given of the Holy Rosary, then follows a clear and simple explanation of how to say the Rosary. The Rosary prayers are listed, then the first of the four Mysteries begins. Each decade is introduced by a simple reflection and prayer printed above a colorful illustration. With the guidance of this book and the support from an adult, any child will grow to understand and love the powerful prayer that is the Holy Rosary.

I think the best thing about this book is the illustrations, which are very nice and large, taking slightly more than half of each page.
Each Mystery has a whole page to itself, with a child-appropriate meditation at the top. For example, "Mary, my Mother, I love you as I see you telling the angel that you are ready to become the Mother of God because this is the Will of the Heavenly Father. Thank Jesus for wanting to become a child for love of me. Make me humble and obedient that I may always please God as you did." The first few pages give the historical background of the Rosary, including Saint Dominic, Lourdes, and Fatima. All the prayers are included, from The Sign of the Cross to the Hail, Holy Queen and Let us Pray (said at the end). With the clear instructions and simple diagrams, it is very easy for anyone to understand how to pray the Rosary by following this book.
