And the Truth shall set you Free,
By The Publisher "Tengeneza" (Houston, Texas USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Holy Spirit and Reality (Paperback)
The most fascinating thing about this book is the writers interplay of the word "truth" and "reality" and the depth it reveals in familiar Christian terms and rituals such as Babtism, The Church,Worship, The Blood of Jesus, Humility, Prayer, Crucifixion and others. He makes the point that too many miss out on the spiritual realities behind them and convincingly outlines how to enter into that reality.
The sub-chapter "Supply and Reality" can be especially helpful in placing the individual christians role in the body of christ in the right perspective. In the appendix was an amazing insight with examples from both the Old and New Testament into what he calls "obsession" which he defines as "what one thinks and does is totally wrong and yet one thinks that they are very right".Some of the areas of obsession given are sickness, fear, speculations, other peoples words, imagined sin and many others. After explaining the causes, the writer goes on to explain how God's light can provide the deliverance needed.

This review is from: The Holy Spirit and Reality (Paperback)
Anyone who is just doing casual reading, will be lost after the first page. Anyone whose heart is desiring to know more about God will discover more about themselves. Although the book only 53 pages, it will create infinite hours of meditation which leads to revelation!

The Holy Spirit and Reality,
This review is from: The Holy Spirit and Reality (Paperback)
Pretty short. Refreshing and deep: talks about the difference between a person who says they have faith, or love, or whatever, and says all the right words, but something doesn't seem right and a person who doesn't say the right words, or does, or says nothing at all, and yet you sense that quality... A page or two discusses how the body of Christ actually works...
An apendix discusses what I would call lies we believe and believe so much we think they are true. The word he uses for that is "obsessions".
