About the Author
Henry W. Soltau (1805-1875) was born in Plymouth, England, and was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge. He gave up his law practice to devote himself to the study of the Scriptures and the work of the Gospel. He is also the author of The Tabernacle, the Priesthood, and the Offerings.

This is probably one of the most thourough and Biblical books ever written on this subject. Not many people today take time to study the typology of the tabernacle, but anyone who will study this will be immensly blessed. Those who prefer their own form of doctrine will not enjoy the study of types, as the study of types makes clear what the true form of doctrine is. I highly recommend this book to all who desire a more complete understanding of the word of God.
