More About the Author

Mike Flynn is an Episcopal priest and Vineyard pastor who was mentored in power ministry during the early 80's by John Wimber, founder of the Vineyard Movement. In 1985, while Mike was pastor of St. Jude's Episcopal Church in Burbank, CA, he began taking his people on the road giving to the wider church the dynamics they had field-tested at St. Jude's. Over the next decade they led 150 conferences.

In 1995 Mike and his board incorporated this ministry as FreshWind Ministries and began to lead conferences and seminars full-time. To date, he has led over 510 events in most Pacific rim countries, Latin America, Africa and the US. Over 2800 team members have traveled with him at their own expense in order to minister to the Body of Christ.

FreshWind's vision is to teach, model, and impart responsiveness to the Holy Spirit. While the themes and teachings are tailored to each client group, general areas of use are power ministry, physical healing, emotional healing, lay ministry development, discipling, ministry to the poor, prayer, spiritual growth, power evangelism, and understanding and using biblical faith. For more information, see the website at www.freshwindministries.org.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredibly practical book about opening yourself to Jesus, May 26, 2000
This review is from: Holy Vulnerability (Paperback)
Most of us don't like the word "vulnerable." It's not a word that gets us up the corporate ladder at the top rate of speed. This book shows us that being vulnerable to God, more gifts than we could ever imagine will be poured upon us. It's truly just a wonderful and powerful book.
