I teach a course in terrorism in a southwestern university. I find Kushner's text to be one of the most valuable books that I assign. My students are invariably stunned when they read this book. It exposes the reader to some extremely unpleasant truths about our government, our media, and our refusal to look reality square in the face. If you want to understand what is really going on in the world today, read this book.

Harvey Kushner has been in the business of anlyzing terrorists and terrorist activity for many years. I, too, have some experience in the matter. Kushner is a master at synthesizing a complex matter in a form that can be widely disseminated. Holy War on the Home Front is an excellent book of FACT, of what is heppening here and now, that the target of the exercise, Muslim terrorists, Muslim supporters of terrorists, anti-west Muslim extremists, and others of the same ilk will try to defame.

Holy War documents a number of problematic issues that have been festering WITHIN the United States for some years now. Rather than hide our collective, politically correct, head in the sand, as does the ACLU, et al, it is time for Americans in general, and those in power specifically, to recognize the very real threat within our own borders.

Kushner has taken a subject matter that has been a political "hot potato", certianly since September 11, 2001, and layed it out for all to see. As recent history has proven time and again, regardless of their "American citizenship", there are numberous elements within the American Muslim community that would do us harm, or support those who would do us harm, and Americans need to be made aware of the threat.

Kushner and others have taken a first step towards that necessary awareness about knowing the enemy in our midst - a step that logic says should be unnecessary after the murderous 9-11 attack by Muslim fanatics.

Holy War is an excellent book written by a man who has the knowledge and expertise. It needs to be read by all Americans.

The reviewer named Willy who stated that Holy War "is the dryest and most poorly written one [book] I have read in a long time" is dead wrong. Moreover, his/her assertion that Kushner "throws around so many arabic names that you have no idea who he is talking about from one parapgraph [sic] to the next" is untrue. And that "[t]he individual actions of the terrorists don't amount to much and you wonder what the big deal is" indicates that Willy might be soft on terrorism, don't you think.

In point of fact, Holy War is the first book to cut through the impossible to follow Arabic names and acronyms and leave the reader with a clear understanding of the links between Islamic groups and individuals. From universites to charities to mosques, Kushner documents and demonstrates relationships. He does this without pointing fingers at the group but rather separates out those individuals who give the larger group a bad name. He targets problematic individuals and terrorists. His documentation is strong and refute it if you can.

No other book presents information (not speculation)as Kushner does on a secret Islamic terror network operating inside the United States. Why are we afraid to state that we are at war with Militant Islam. Why? Well, I agree with Kushner when he writes, "The only explanation as to why we continue to ignore the secret Islamic terror network in America is that the demands of political correctness have made us so afraid of being branded racists that we force ourselves to be color blind, identity blind, and gender blind till we end up, quite simply, totally blind."

Holy War had to be written. Why? Someone had to define the enemy and have the guts to push aside "PC" and say what had to be said about saving America. Christians must wake up to the evil within and take back this country. Let's not rewrite history to include others who didn't take part in the creation of America. Let's welcome all but remember where we came from and where we want to go. And that is back to our roots and let us honor the most democratic society known to man.

The Publishers Weekly review of Holy War is way off the mark. Indeed, Kushner uses the Internet for research--but he uses trusted sources. I assume that the "liberal" Publishers Weekly (PW) couldn't find anything wrong with Kushner's work other than to say that he uses the Internet. Moreover, Holy War presents documents to support claims and drive home points on the failure of our government to protect the public interest. I should also mention that PW faults Kushner for blaming liberals for not dealing with Militant Islam. Hey, Kushner is right and PW shouldn't hide behind PC and call it like it is. That is, if we don't destroy Militant Islam, it (Militant Islam) will destroy us.

This is definately a must read! It has finally addressed the biggest issue that no one has had the balls to talk about: the well funded, deeply entrenched, secret Islamic terror network right here in our country. Dr. Kushner lays it all out. From their infiltration of our universities to the prison system to our military. The way they have managed to manipulate the media and turn our very civil liberties against us. Not to mention all the money making schemes. I had never heard of the drug khat before I read Holy War on the Home Front, yet they are out there making millions off it. And all of this is backed up but actual documents from government agencies. The issues brought up here demand discussion. I cannot recomend this book enough. It will change your entire perception on who we are up against.

It's about time that someone "connected the dots." Holy War gives us all the talking points. A must read, and a great read. I couldn't put the book down until I finished. If you read one book this year, read Kushner's Holy War.

Islamic extremism is a key driver that continues to contribute to the manifestation and future proliferation of conflict throughout the globe. I work for the Government in a Probation capacity and Dr. Kushner's Holy War on the Home Front is on point with the internal struggle the United States is facing with regard to Islamic extremism. This was a book that needed to be written. Kushner's analysis and evidence contributes greatly to the knowledge base that needs to be established for understanding the relationship between terrorist and criminal elements. The gray area that exist between terrorist elements and criminals alike is a place where lines of demarcation are non-existent, the two cross paths and attempt to hide within America. This is a wake up call.

Holy War on the Home Front is truly excellent and a must read if you are interested in hard-hitting facts as opposed to PC-coated drivel. Dr. Kushner is, once again, alerting us to a significant threat that should not be ignored, that cannot be ignored. This is a book based on reality, not theory. Stop reading reviews--just buy this book and read it. It's a small price to pay for freedom. No other book identifies the enemy like Holy War. It summarizes a mass of information, often impossible to understand,in way that anyone can understand--no academic BS or PC. If you like Kushner's work on FOX then you will love this read.
