this product works just as described...turn your old gubby tile grout into new looking with little effort or diy skills

just paint on , then wipe over the tiles the next day ...job done :)

I don't want to imply that the prior reviewer wasn't honest, apparently the product didn't work for her. But I have used this stuff for years in different properties, old and new, and never had a problem. The best application is, in my opinion, a longish-term temporary solution until you can actually remove the old grout or the tile and grout entirely. I have covered up the blackest black grout and changed a tile wall and floor from 1970's graph paper to modern, looking fresh, clean. My latest application is turning ugly gray-brown "grout" on a fake tile tub surround to nice clean white. Grout coating is not permanent, in a tub area you'll have to reapply every 2 or 4 months to keep it nice looking, but it's so easy to apply it's a great temporary solution so you don't have to hate your bathroom or kitchen or floor or whatever until you have the time and money to do a permanent fix. I love Tile Guard Grout Coating so much I'm buying more today. Btw, I recommend not waiting 12 hours to clean it off. I wait only 1 hour, I use wet wadded paper towels and wipe only the tile area, not the grout. I've never had flaking, just gradual wear-off over the course of months.

used this on old floor tile in a bathroom. really holds up!! looks like new grout. takes time and patience to put on however and some energy to wipe off.

This product worked for me. Only thing, you have to wait for about 12 hrs. before you can use you shower again as it takes time for it to work properly.

This is one of the best on the market. I hate tile because of the grout & I have animals that track in dirt, etc. Over a short period of time my grout looks horrible. This is the best solution available at an inexpensive price.

This stuff is great! I live in a rental and the bathroom tiles looked old and dirty. While this takes a lot of time and effort, it was definitely worth it.

I have used this product for years and it never disappoints! I used it yesterday on my white tile kitchen counter. It looks like new!! You won't be sorry!

Homax 9314... I tried it to whiten the grout on my kitchen counters. The prior grout was grayed due to age. I followed the instructions to the letter, even going further than the 12 to 24 hours, allowing it to sit for a week. Yes, a week. I just cleaned it off, and while some of it has adhered to the prior grout, I now have flakes of the stuff all over the place. Its coming off, period. Horrible product.
