Before I begin let me say that I am the biggest fan of Home Alone 2:Lost In New York. Last week I visited New York City, largely because of this film. Due to my love for it, I, of cours e own the soundtrack, the score, and this album. I strongly reccomned the other two albums, but not this one. Let me explain. This album was released in 1993, one year after Home Alone 2 was released. I guess the film-makers wanted to make even more profit off of the franchise that already made so much money in the first place. All the songs on Home Alone:Christmas, with the exception of one or two are already on the Home Alone 2 soundtrack!! This is basically the same album with a different title-the only other difference is that it contains some songs from the first Home Alone soundtrack, which I also have, and reccomend.
So if you want a few good Christmas albums, or want all the Home Alone CD's, get the other three-only purchase this to complete your set.

The CD was good however some of the better songs from the movies were not on it. I think it could have been better.

This Home Alone Christmas CD is the Ultimate Christmas CD. It has all types of music, and different types of Christmas songs. My mom bought it, because she saw it was a good buy. But now, every Christmas, this is one of the only CD's we play. Definately buy it!

The stupid TLC song! I don't even know why that is on there....
Anyways I love the movie, it reminds me of Christmas. I guess it dates me since I am 25, so when this was popular i was just a kid. When I hear the music, it reminds me of the movie, but more importantly, it gives me that "Christmas feeling." That is really hard to feel sometimes, so a $10 CD is well worth it.

For those that loved the movie, this is a great Christmas soundtrack! Lots of classics as well as some new ones (at the time)!!

The songs on this CD are a nice mix, and I enjoy the vocals, but I wish they had included some of the musical score from the movie, including John William's Holiday Flight. I know the score is available as a seperate CD, but considering some of the vocal songs are included on the score, it makes no sense that the parts of the score that are holiday music aren't included on this. The CD includes a particullary nice sounding Carol of the Bells, and one of my personal favorites, Silver Bells.

I really love this CD. Such a great selection of Christmas music. Any Home Alone fan will love this CD.

Being the greatest fan of Home Alone 1 and Home Alone 2 there ever was I am somewhat disappointed in this version of the music. The volume level does not seem consistant, but mostly there is a "soul" version of "Oh Come All Ye Faithful" that does not fit in and adds *nothing* to the soundtrack of John Williams', John Hughes' and Chris Columbus' incredible work. I don't remember that rendering of the song being in either movie. Wish I could remove it.

This is a great Holiday collection of music. The main themes were composed by the musical master John Williams. Turn the sound up for his: "Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas". This song will bring all the Christmas memories from your childhood back. It makes you want to sit by the fire with a glass of egg nog. Alan Jackson brings some country twang to "A Holly Jolly Christmas." The Fox Albert Children's Choir sing a really nice song called "My Christmas Tree." There's even Tom Petty and Mel Torme to add some additional spice to the mix. Buy this Christmas CD, you'll love it!

I have loved the score from this and the original movie ever since I saw them. and this CD has become a standard to listen to Christmas eve and Christmas day in my home.
