This 20-page pamphlet--it's more that than a book, the kind of thing a bookseller would call "wrappers"--was produced in a limited edition of 350 numbered copies individually signed by the author and with illustrations by Gail Cross and Tim Holt. Written while the author was at the height of his descriptive powers, in Blaylock's most luminous, graceful prose, this short story tells the story of a typical Blaylock couple, lifelong lovers grown old together, and their eventual, touching fate. This short novella is a necessity for readers and collectors of Blaylock.
