I must be getting sentimental since having children, but this is the only Christmas CD I routinely put on. It is so good, I bought a replacement one this year when either I lost it or my 3 year old confiscated it...only time will tell what happened. Amy Grant really can sing the xmas stuff.

I love this Amy Grant CD--I grew up with it in my home, and am tickled to have my own copy of it now that I'm grown up. It's a special Christmas item for me.

I have none of Amy Grant's albums - except for all of her Christmas collections. I have every one of those, and the reason why is this album. It's exceptional, just the right mix of traditional and popular songs, and Grant's voice is perfect for both types. I can't imagine trimming the tree without this on the stereo.

My holiday CDs are usually packed away and it takes me forever to find them in my storage, so every year I have to buy this CD over again because it is my favorite. It is the one CD I listen to first while I am getting all my holiday things out and getting myself into the decorating mood. My second favorite CD that I buy new every year is the Carpenters Christmas Collection - both are perfection!
(you would think I would learn to keep these CDs on top, eh?)

The song "Breath Of Heaven" makes me want to cry every time I hear it. I also love "Emmanuel, God With Us".
I am not normally a fan of Amy Grant. This is the only CD of hers that I own. So even if you do not like her other work, this one is worth a listen. Very nice and peaceful background music for your holiday.

I first bought the tape of this many, many years ago as I am a huge fan of Amy Grant's christian music. I have since listened to this (now CD) every year during the holidays and my Christmas would not be complete without it. The songs are beautiful and very meaningful. It's a great album for "little ears" to listen to as well. I highly recommened this CD to anyone looking for a warm and cozy Christmas album to enjoy the holidays with.

Although I have known about Amy Grant for some years, I did not have any of her recordings in my collection. Then I heard the song "Breath of Heaven" on the radio and it absolutely captured my attention. "Home for Christmas" is a wonderful collection of Christmas standards and some songs which may not be as familiar to you. All are well produced and recorded. Amy's voice is as smooth and rich as honey and every song is done to perfection. Even if you already have a large collection of Christmas music, make room for this one. It's definitely worth your money.

I have been listening to Amy Grant's music for most of my life, and I would consider her entire career to be somewhat erratic. However, one absolute constant is her Christmas music. I have enjoyed each of her Christmas albums tremendously, and "Home for Christmas" is the cream of the crop.

Several of these tracks are particularly inspiring, including "Breath of Heaven" and "Emmanuel, God with Us." "Breath of Heaven" has been remade many times since, but this is still the best version. There are many classic secular Christmas tunes on this album, including "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and "I'll be Home for Christmas." And there are several beautiful arrangements of Christmas carols, including "Joy to the World" and "O Come All Ye Faithful."

The mix of songs here is fabulous. The arrangements include huge sounds from full orchestras, simple acoustic stuff, and Amy Grant's beautiful voice weaving from one style to another. It's just good stuff. There are a few moments that are beginning to sound the slightest bit dated, but overall, this is a fantastic Christmas album that I'd recommend to anyone.

Some old and some new. All beautifully sung. This will be a favorite in the years to come.
It is my first Amy Grant album, but won't be the last.

This is our family's favorite Christmas CD. Our old one was used so much it did not play right anymore. I was so glad to see that it was still available!

We had this Album before as a tape. We loved it so much we wanted to have a CD for car rides. Our CD arrived before it was expected to. We would definitely order again.
