5.0 out of 5 stars Home for Christmas by Nsync
Well I bought this album in May and I really like it. This album really shows the voices of all the guys. There is no question these guys can really sing. Although the majority of the songs are about "love with someone" at Christmas, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The traditional songs are great, but, the original songs are extemely easy on the ears. 3.0 out of 5 stars Nice CD!
This is a pretty good Christmas CD, *NSYNC have chosen a whole lot of songs that don't bore us to death every October to Boxing Day. The tracks I liked best were Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Kiss Me At Midnight, those two are probably the fastest ones. But the harmonizing on the rest of the CD is flawless, like on The Only Gift, I Guess It's Christmas Time, The...

Like another reviewer- you won't be able to get "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays" out of your head. I love that song. It is fun and happy and brings out the true meaning and spirit of Christmas and the video of it is pretty cool too! Justin does alot of the lead vocals and he does them beautifully as well as JC and Chris. There is even one song portion that you hear only Lance on, which is a nice surprise. If you are an *Nsync fan than you should own this CD too. You will love it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Christmas Albumn Recorded This Century!, November 18, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Home for Christmas (Audio CD)
Home For Christmas is a beautiful peace of song writing andsong singing! *NSYNC's voices carry out the lyrics to these songs and make them even more beautiful than they are already. In one song entitled "It's Christmas"which is track #10 Justin sings a line in the second verse that is outstanding and well written the line is "cold winter nights may come and go, but were still dancin slow... can't you hear my song the song I sing for you". To some this may seem like just another mushy boyband line, but to a true *NSYNC fan who's heard it they know the combination of the words and Justins harmonic voice is like nothing else. I'd also like to add that I think *NSYNC are some of the most hard working young people in the music business today. They unfortunately give up having normal lives like most people their age to please the thousands of people who adore them. They are 5 people who love what their doing, not a fabricated "boy band"in it for money. They deserve alot of credit for sticking to it thru all the law suits and controversy, and I would like to tell them that they can take their time putting out the new albumn, because I think I can speak for all the fans when I say "We are still gonna be here no matter how long you take" "We Love You"!

5.0 out of 5 stars This album is a must for all. Not just *NSYNC fans., December 5, 1999
This review is from: Home for Christmas (Audio CD)
This cd is heartfelt. I've always been skeptical about pop music, and a friend of mine knew that so she reccomended this cd. I haven't been able to stop listening to it. "O Holy Night," is absolutely breathtaking (the way that they sing it), and there are some original songs mixed in w/ the traditional ones. If you want a good Christmas album, GET THIS ONE. It's 100x better than their debut, and it truly showcases their vocal talent. On this album, my personal favorites are "Love's In Our Hearts On Christmas Day," "Home For Christmas," "In Love On Christmas," "Under My Tree," and "O Holy Night." GREAT JOB *NSYNC!

But the harmonizing on the rest of the CD is flawless, like on The Only Gift, I Guess It's Christmas Time, The First Noel and Oh Holy Night. This CD has the customary Justin and JC, with a bit of Chris singing lead, but also more Joey and Lance which was cool to hear. Nice listening, all year round!

I haven't even listened to the whole album yet (ever since I bought it about 7 months back!!), 'cause everytime I put the CD in the player, my fingers force me to go immediately to song # 11 (the Acappella version of O Holy Night)....and the result? I end up listening to that one song over and over again until I'm on to the netx CD (I have to literally force myself to do that too)! What a Fantabulous arrangement!!.....I think the CD is worth much much more only because of that one song which showcases the amazing talent of this group! I think that's what sets N Sync apart from the other Boy Bands....'cause many others have'nt really shown us their vocal talent! 98 Degrees is another group that is vocally very talented (you can see it in the fact that they have atleast one Acappella number in all their albums, and so does NSync)! Adolphe Adam (the original composer) must feel so proud! As far as I am concerned, in all my experience as the Conductor of a Choir, and being a singer since my cildhood, this is the best arranged and performed version of this timeless classic.....now, after all that....what are you waiting for? Go get it, you won't be disappointed!

Wow, this is a great album! I love *N Sync, and I was real surprised to hear this, I didn't think it would be better than their first album. If you're looking for great Christmas music, this is the CD to buy! It has traditional, and some new stuff! I love it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Not Just Another Boy Band, October 13, 2006
This review is from: Home for Christmas (Audio CD)
NSYNC sets themselves apart from the pack with this one. Their smooth harmonies and absolute talent shines in each song on the album. I love the original songs on the CD, like "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays," "I Guess it's Christmastime," and others, as well as the classic Christmas favorites "The First Noel," and "The Christmas Song." But the highlight of the CD is definitely their amazing a cappella version of "O Holy Night." I would have bought the CD just for that.
I would recommend this CD not only for NSYNC fans, but for anyone looking to add to their Christmas collection. It's definitley worth your money!

5.0 out of 5 stars Does the word "breathtaking" mean anything to you?, July 4, 2000

Okay, wow. Breathe in, breathe out. Calm down, Katie. Sorry about that. I just finished listening to track 11, an a capella version of "O Holy Night". That has been my favorite song since I bought this album when it came out. Their five-part harmonies are released from the chains of sythesizers and drums to be what they truly are and always have been: gorgeous voices. No more hiding behind instruments for these guys! The album is great, with everything from a few classics to a remake of K-Ci &JoJo's "In Love On Christmas". And expect a lot of original songs, including one written by JC and Justin themselves ("Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays"). See ya later, and just remember: Kids, don't try this at home. Well, at least make sure you're seated someplace where you won't fall into anything!

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW!, December 1, 2000
By A Customer

No matter what people think about *Nsync, once you hear their accapella version of "Oh Holy Night" you have to give them some credit. Their vocals are absolutely amzing. Honestly, if you listen to only one song on this CD, skip to #11. ;-) One of my other favorites is "The only gift" I think each of them has a solo on this song. Lance hits a really low note about halfway through the song, and it sounds really cool. Another part of the song goes like this..."I was saying goodbye, bye bye bye..." Kinda creepy huh? Ya know..."bye bye bye" :- )...anyways this is an excellent Christmas Album, and is especially unique because it's not mainly JC and Justin singing. Joey, Lance and Chris have alot of spotlight to. ;-)
