4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good, but not he best
This book isn't exactly a thrill a minute, but it has it's good parts. Here's the deal... Todd still loves Liz, but he's hanging out with Alex a lot. Liz is totally in love with Tom, but now that she's home, she's being haunted by memories of Todd. In the end, Tom and Todd get into a fist fight over her, and Tom is sure she's still in love with Todd. Read to find out what...

2.0 out of 5 stars OK, But not the best SVU book
This book was OK, but could stand some adjustment. First of all,Tom is a jerk and should just leave Liz alone already! And,Mike Should quit practicly stalking Jess! All though the begining was good, The end just wasn't.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good, but not he best, December 23, 2000
This review is from: Home for Christmas (Sweet Valley University(R)) (Mass Market Paperback)
Read to find out what happens. Jessica is trying to avoid telling her parents about the whole Mike fiasco. This leads to a lot of lieing on Billie's, Steven's, Liz's, Tom's, and her part. Oh and Tom is so nervous about making a good impression on Liz's parents that he's messing everything up! Very funny. And Mike is still in love with Jessica, and he's getting feeling back in his legs (which he realizes while saving Steven's life at the beginning). There a lot of nice parts in this book, I'd recommend it as something to curl up with on Christmas eve. However, if you want more action, get the next few books in the series. those are great!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Love it!, July 5, 2001

This review is from: Home for Christmas (Sweet Valley University(R)) (Mass Market Paperback)
I love this book! It's so intruiging. But, their are a few errors in it. For instance, the SVU books were written before Olivia Davidson died, so Olivia Davidson is at the reuinion, even though she's suppose to be dead, and Liz is talking to her a lot. Also, a few of the memories didn't exist. ANyway, this book is really good. Mike does something really increadible for Jessica, which you'll have to read in order to find out. Todd and Tom have a lot of controversity, but you'll have to read it to find out who wins Elizabeth's heart. Also, Jessica confesses the whole story to her parents. How will they react? Read it to find out! Also, they have a high school reunion, and Olivia Davidson, who's suppose to be dead is in it. It's mildly amusing how some of the people and memories that are mentioned didn't exist. This is a really great book. Even if you've never celebrated Chrismas you'll like it. This book is great!

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Home for Christmas (Sweet Valley University(R)) (Mass Market Paperback)
It was a very good book i mean just like perect. i really enjoied Todd and Tom fighting over Liz. who does Todd think he is as if he can date Elizabeth's ex-best-friend Alexadra and then say he truley loves Liz. the part that made me cry was when Mike asked Jessica to remarry him. how he did it was so sweet and then jessica had to turn him down i wanted to tell her something. anyway it was a really great book.

this book was great! I really liked when Tom beat-up Todd!Serves him right! he shouldn't break up with Liz and then act like he "truly loves her" and never meant any harm!
Jessica always has it hard when it comes to boys....She always gets stuck with the wrong guys! Over all, however, this book was really interesting and a good page turner!

I thought Olivia Davidson died in the big earthquake in Sweet Valley High around the twins' 18th bday? She has a three second cameo near the end of this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars no more secrets, August 5, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Home for Christmas (Sweet Valley University(R)) (Mass Market Paperback)
This book made me really relieved because Jessica finally tells her parents about Mike! I don't know how she could've kept the secret any longer. Poor Tom thinks Elizabeth is in love with Todd, even though she's not, when they go to the high school reunion. And what is up with Todd & Alexandra? That is sooo stupid, Alexandra needs to get over it. Even though Tom & Elizabeth are together, we all know Elizabeth and Todd will always be together someway. Tom is so sweet, though, I'm glad Elizabeth has him and he has her. This is a great book- read it if you're reading the whole series.

3.0 out of 5 stars All right, but needed a little work..., September 22, 1999

This review is from: Home for Christmas (Sweet Valley University(R)) (Mass Market Paperback)
The book was intriguing enough, but some of the scenes were unrealistic & the title was a bit off. The twins don't live on Calico Drive anymore, so that should not be referred to as "home." A more appropriate title might be "Christmas with Parents" or "Christmas Visit to the Old Home" or something to that effect. Maybe Calico Drive might be their old home, but SVU is the twins' real home now. The ride back to their old home was kind of amusing & touching in that the Wakefields were crammed in Steven's car with Tom & Billie & were joking about being all over each other. The holiday feel of the book was heartwarming, especially having their parents welcome them back for their visit. But it was kind of unrealistic that when Jess confessed about living with Mike, their parents nearly threw a fit! I mean, they're adults & they're going to make mistakes. Their mom becomes just about hysterical & can't stop crying while their dad yells at them about "betraying us" & things like that. I could see if they were maybe surprised. But at least eventually their parents realized that their job of raising them was done & the twins & Steven were no longer kids. I thought it was too bad that Tom, Todd & Enid acted like such babies at the re-union dance & Todd & Tom wound up fighting. Maybe they need to grow up. But it was neat they way the twins saw many of their old classmates again...kind of like a trip down memory lane. All in all, an enjoyable holiday nostalgia read.
