This gift set was purchased for our 2-1/2 year old grandson. He fell in love with the two pigs immediately and found their drop-seat long johns funny and fascinating. He knows which pig is which because of the initials on their shirts! Toot and Puddle have gone for rides in his shoes, have been introduced to all his other toys, and go to sleep with him at night. His mother was thrilled to find that the pigs were machine washable! We bought a second set in case anything befalls the first set. It's THAT important to him. The book is a sweet and kind story that places high emphasis on friendship and unconditional love. I'm sure this book will become a favorite for years to come.

I got the holiday book/stuffed Toot and Puddle set for my 2.5 year old daughter for Christmas as she really loved the DVD. She loved the mini toys of Toot and Puddle, but the book was rather disappointing. It has very small pictures and a very abridged story from the one on the DVD, so I would not recommend getting this book for toddlers, as it is not expressive enough to get their interest and keep their attention. The little toy pigs are great and if available separately are worth buying if you kid likes these characters.

My niece and nephew love Toot and Puddle books and they really liked this gift set, especially the little stuffed pig ornaments that came with the book.

I got this for my daughter who is almost 3 and loved the present but when I opened the box, I had overlooked the "mini" aspect when I placed my order. Toot and Puddle were a bit smaller than I expected (they are a few inches tall). But the quality of both book and plush are excellent and I would recommend this to another buyer. I would love to see this as a set with full sized picture book and eight to twelve inch plush.
