I've enjoyed the books and the stories and I'm glad I purchased it but I have to wonder about some of these recipes. The instructions are easy to follow and the ingredients are simple, everyday items but somehow a lot of my dishes did not turn out. It could just be my cooking, but sometimes I had to really wonder.

I specifically was looking for this book as I had seen her cook some of her dishes on her TV programs. Everything she makes has such an easy feel to it and most of the time not alot of ingredients. The ingredients are items that you would most always have on hand, which makes it easier and very economical .

I think this is Trisha Yearwood's best cookbook yet. I checked it out from the library and made a few things from it and they turned out really good, so I had to buy it. I mostly purchase vegetarian cookbooks, but this one was so great that I bought it anyway and will try to substitute when I can.

Loved this Trisha Yearwood cookbook too... Yes, I bought both of her cookbooks. She really gives us a really nice collection of her family's tried and true recipes. They are fabulous tasting and easy to make too! Thanks Trisha and family... keep up the great work... your cookbooks rock!

I have ordered other cookbooks from well known performers. However, this one tops them all. All of Trisha's recipes
are easy to follow and I especially love the Hot Corn Dip. I then made the Baked Spaghetti dish for company and they
just raved about the taste. This book is a winner.

Recipes are easy and good. This is real comfort food. Most recipes have a small list of ingredients. I have two of her cookbooks and am back looking to see if there are others I can purchase. This would make a great gift for newlyweds who are just setting up a household.

I really, really hope Tricia Yearwood will write MORE cookbooks!! I am loving her cookbooks! They are simple, yet delicious recipes that even a kitchen challenged person like myself can cook. All of the recipies I have tried are great!
Please, please write more!

I ordered this book for my mother and and sister in law for Christmas and after looking at some of the recipes I have given the hint that I too would love it. The recipes look great and simple. Being from the South, these recipes just scream homecooking! Very impressed.

Like the first cookbook, this is a fantastic addition. The recipes are well written and ingredients simple. Enjoyed reading about friends and family and wished I was sitting at the many family reunions. Would recommend this delight be added to your cookbook collection.

Love the way she uses life stories and memories as a part of the recipe! The recipes do require more time than the modern shortcuts but I feel I am doing something special for my family. All have enjoyed the taste and go back for seconds - amazing recipes and stories!
