My son has had this for 6 months and he loves it. He uses the 'measure tape' to measure everything about three times before he goes to cut it. Finally the plier handles are broken in the last several weeks. However, since he used them a lot over the six months, they lasted a long time. And the clasp on the toolbox came off within a week. And then we just pushed it back on. I am back here to buy another for a friends birthday since they all love it. Cheap fun and safer than letting him work with the real thing.

The tools inside of the box are a great step up from chubby tools - they look a lot more like dad's. The tool box latch broke the first day we gave it to him, what a disappointment!

My husband is Mr. Fix-it, so my daughters absolutely must have their own set of tools. We bought this for my oldest daughter's second birthday. 2+ years later, it is still going strong. She loves it, and her one year old sister is a fan, too. The real measuring tape is a huge hit, and I like that the tools look close to the real thing. It has been fun to see my oldest playing differently with everything in the toolkit as she has gotten older. I actually came on here to find this exact item for a friend's sons and am glad it is still available.

We purchased this for our Grandson for his 3rd birthday - he is very interested in tools, loves to go to hardware stores with his dad to look at tools and had actually asked for - but did not get for obvious reasons, a real hammer for Christmas. When I found this on Amazon, I thought it would be the perfect gift and it was. As he opened it and saw what it was he could not get to the tools fast enough! He had a set of "real" tools, he "fixes" things every chance he gets with his tools. The set also came with a realistic piece of 2x4 for the nails and screws in the box. This was a great gift!

My 2 year old always tries to grab my tools to help when I need to fix something. So I bought this set and now he loves helping me and fixing things on his own.

Even my 2 daughters (6 and 9) both want to help with these play tools.

Fun toy. I bought this toy for my 5 year old son. He had seen it at a friend's house and enjoyed playing with it. He can screw pegs into a piece with holes and enjoys pretending to fix things.

My boys are just 2 and they love these toy tools. The latch on the box is hard for them to open and I have to help them with it but otherwise great toy for them.

My grandson loves it. The only problem we had was the little tab on the tape measure broke the first day, but other than that, it's been great.
