This review is from: Home Fires (Harlequin Temptation) (Paperback)
This is a fast-paced, funny, and dare I say it, heart-warming book ... just like cuddling up to the hearth on a cold winter's night! Grant is a writer, a man of adventure, who's looking to rest and recover after suffering a broken leg. Lily, divorced mother of three, runs a rural lodge, where a friend of Grant's recommends he recoup until he's ready to start his next adventure. Their first meeting gets off to a rocky start, but things warm up quickly ! I think you'll find much to like in this charming story - I recommend and give it four stars!
Description from the book back cover: Lily Talbot was warmth and comfort. And Grant Saxon was freedom and adventure. He was a man who spurned any form of domesticity. But she'd opened the door or her resort home to him one blustery night and let him into her life. Despite his brusque, independent manner, Grant charmed Lily's three children and enthralled her with his tender love. Though she knew he was a loner, never to be confined, maybe she could take what he offered, just this once ... |
