Great music, great fun and wonderful Americana. This can be enjoyed by all ages for its entertainment value alone. A superb resource for teaching music and American history.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not Just "Civil War", March 11, 2007
By
This review is from: The Home Front-17 Authentic Tunes of the Civil War (Audio CD)
This CD is great Old Time music--very simple and traditional but varied and entertaining. The songs and tunes don't have to do with the war specifically. Lots of banjo and some other traditional instruments including accordion and jaw harp.
