I've been using Home Health castor oil on my skin and to condition my hair. It gives my face a healthy, rosy look and helps with dry skin on my hands and feet. I warm it a little and put it in my hair for 15 minutes before shampooing. I have to cover it with a plastic bag so that I'm not dripping oil all over the house. It makes my hair softer and glossier. Great stuff!

My 62 year old mom raised me telling me that castor oil is a miracle cure. She uses it as a moisturizer (and only did so for a FEW years), but looks 20 years younger than her age. Nobody can believe her actual age.

I used to use castor oil rubbed on my stomach when I had bad cramps during my period or was *ahem* constipated -- this really helped simply being used externally!

I now get enough fiber *yay*, but I still use castor oil for cramps and stomach aches. I also use it in and around my eyes, mouth, and on bruises:

*This helps soothe my eyes. If I use too much it can be annoying, but I like to put it in my tear duct or on my eyelashes and have it drip a little in my eye. This helps me with dry eyes, redness, irritation, and inflammation.

*This helps me with tooth sensitivity, swollen gums, and chapped lips. I like to take this and pour it along my gum lines and a bit on my lips. I will then press my gum line to my teeth and use my tongue to get it all around my teeth. I will leave this for around 15 minutes and for the next week will experience NO tooth sensitivity!
-This also helps relieve my sensitive gums!

*I also use this on bruises. At my job, I tend to get bruises around my legs from moving large objects very quickly (I'm 4'11"). Using castor oil relieves and helps these bruises disappear very quickly.

Castor oil is a very THICK emollient oil, however, I do believe it has healing properties from personal experience. I would not recommend this as a moisturizer for the entire body, unless mixed with something else as it is very thick and sticky -- however, I highly recommend using this on your face if you are just hanging around the house.

This oil has so many uses - but I use this on my scalp. This is wonderful for hair growth and strengthening plus it's a great moisturizer! Just rub this on the scalp a couple of times a day and you will be AMAZED! This oil is thick and not runny, if you don’t like the smell or thickness you can mix with other carrier oils.

I had a severe hair loss issue and using this oil helped me grow my hair back in a couple of months! Consistency is the KEY! I LOVE it and would highly recommend it to anyone. If you find yourself getting bumps on your scalp, undiluted may be too strong for you. Simply mix other olive, jojoba or another oil to ease the sensitivity.

I have used NUMEROUS brands of Regular Castor and Black Castor Oil - just look for 100% or pure and you can't go wrong with either type or brand. I have indeed posted reviews on different brands because I have used these brands. I use castor oil on my hair and my daughters’ hair and I mix my own hair products so I buy several brands as long as they are 100% / pure castor. I hope this review helps!!

I read an article about using castor oil for bad joints. It has helped alot, so I recommend it to everyone who has bad knees or whatever. I like the larger bottles because I use it every day instead of lotion. I even have my husband using it

I bought the Castor Oil because I heard it could work wonders on hair. All I can say is that it more than lived up to my expectations. My hair is silky soft. It is no longer falling out by the handfulsn, completely tangle free and I am even sporting some new baby hairs. Everyone should use this product!

First time buying this kind of oil, i've been using it to help with hair growth, my eyebrows and my eyelashes and I've seen quite improvement in my eyelashes in just the first week in receiving it though since I'm quite sensitive too smell, the smell of it bothered me but you definitely get over it !

I think castor oil has gotten a bad rap as a natural labor inducer/laxative. Use this stuff in your oil cleansing method ( [...]) to wash your face without stripping it, use it as an eyebrow/eyelash growth enhancer ( [...] ), and as a skin pack for sore muscles or upset tummy ( [...] ) .
