I love holiday book and have a large collection. Grace Chapel book are just on the edge of being a lot of religion, but they don't cross the line. I find them to be just right. They have wonderful local color, great characters, lots of love, and you will have a hard to laying it down each day. The descriptions are wonderful and they seem well researched.

We read this for my book club and while it was your typical light, sweet read - it really held a wonderfully strong message within to make for a good discussion. While the characters are not ones you will remember - the storyline is.

I found it fascinating that this is a series of books that are all written by different authors. A good read if you are looking for a book that will make you remember what Christmas is truly about and being always alert to the people God puts in our paths.... because it is always for a reason.

In enjoyed reading this book over Christmas time. However, I like all the books in this series and like to read them for relaxation. It is neat to see what the characters will do next and how they react. Also, there are many good ideas for decorating and cooking that are part of the book. It brings the nostalgic part of Christmas into your thoughts as you prepare for a busy time of year.

I've enjoyed reading the the Tales from the Grace Chapel Series. My library only has about 5 books from the series. I had no idea there were so many books. Home for Holidays is difficult to keep reading. There is too much detail and time spent on the house tours. I love old homes but I don't want to spend entire chapters visualizing the details of some house. Unless something interesting happens I'm going to return the book without finishing it. I definitely would not recommend purchasing the whole series until one has read them. Who wants a bunch of books you might not enjoy?

A sweet little Christmas story. I liked it because the main characters are about my age and it was fun to read about their adventures.

Nice -- not musty. I look forward to reading it. Do you have many of the 49 books. I have only up to 18.

A great book to read at any time but especially during the Christmas season, as I did. It is another in the Grace Chapel Inn series about 3 sisters who, upon the death of their father, turn their Victorian family home into a B&B. Each book in the series shows how the sisters interact with each other, with other townspeople and with the guests at the inn. In this one, the sisters decide to close the inn so they can just enjoy the Christmas season with each other. That is not how it turns out, though, as a small group of people on an historic home tour is stranded in Acorn Hill. To see how the sisters step up to help, albeit somewhat grudgingly, is a lesson to us all.

To AMAZON: please convert the rest of these series into Kindle format. I hate having to skip any of them.

To PROSPECTIVE READERS: This series has been wonderful since I read the first book, and it gets better with every book written. I don't know how they do it! I highly recommend it.
