I love to buy quilt books, perhaps it's an addiction. This is one of the few books I will read over, again and again. There is a real warmth to her colors and her quilts, without being too cute (like Debbie Mum). I could even make one of these quilts for my 18 year old son without complaints. Even if you don't quilt, I think you would enjoy seeing how she incorporates her quilts into her decor. If you do quilt, even better! Your only dilemma will be in trying to decide which quilt to make first.

Excellent instructions along with beautiful sample pictures add up to a well-rounded book for all quilters. Lots of projects from the simple to more advanced, small to large. Good info on use of color, pattern, etc. A great reference area on basic quilt construction from cutting (rotary) to binding. I have made several projects already and am very pleased with the book. Lynette also includes a section on decorating your home with your quilts.

The quilts in this book are fun to make and display around the house. Lynette's choice of colors are warm and inviting. I enjoyed seeing how she used quilts in her decorating scheme. This book is more than just instructional it is fun to read and browse through again and again

Thimbleberries quilts and fabric are just what I have been looking for to help me decorate my home, dark, warm , country colors. It has been hard for me to find someone else who loves this country look as I do. The directions are well laid out and the quilts go together in no time, it seems. Try any of Lynette's books, they are all 5 stars. Can't wait for the next!

Lynette Jensen has done it again! She has provided us with inspiration, not perspiration. Her designs are lovely to look at but won't take months to achieve. Many are easy enough for beginners. Another winner!

I just received this book yesterday and have already selected and begun work on two different quilts. The instructions, diagrams, pictures, patterns, colors are all wonderful! This will be one of my top books in my collection. Back to quilting!

I just received this book a couple of weeks ago, so I haven't made any quilts from it yet, but it looks fabulous. I have a collection of about 50 quilt books already and I can tell that there will be a lot in this one that I will be making. The pictures are beautiful, and offer really good ideas on different ways to display quilts once you've made them, always a problem for avid quilters. The instructions look very clear and straightforward and the colours she uses are beautiful, although she uses a lot more browns than I tend to, but even that looks easily adaptable without ruining the look. As soon as I finish the quilt that I'm making for my daughter's wedding present, I'll be starting some quilts from this book.

I love the book, but I ordered the paperback, and it fell apart rather quickly. I'll have to have it bound.

Really enjoy the patterns and instructions from Lynette Jennings. I find her books easy to follow. But you can tell it is an older book because I know in the later books she gives ways of making patterns easier (less piecing, eg star pattern). But I thoroughly enjoy her books.
