Very complex and intricate album..., January 17, 2009

Home Without The Journey is the third studio album from The Glimmer Room, and it took 2 years to finish it!. It is certainly a very complex and intricate album, and you will travel through many delicate movements in each of the three songs which can be found here. Everything from airy, deserted ambient landscapes to some more tidal ones and back. All of the songs ends up as a subtle sonic monument to all the lessons learned working on the first two The Glimmer Room albums.
Home Without The journey has purposely been mastered in a way that holds back on shear volume to make way for an album that follows the highs and lows in a much more intimate and emotional way.
And I would like to add that this album should be listened to with really good HI-FI system to be fully appreciated, not to mention at a moderately high volume.
Highly Recommended. Buy without hesitation!
