Written before Daughtry left for American Idol semi-superstardom, this song was also used for the actual show, and made for the best goodbye song yet. Although the song has lost a little of its luster after going through the ugly radio cycle, the song still remains as good as ever with its touching lyrics, perfect vocals, great structure, and its build-up during the course of the song. In fact, the only thing that could top this song, is its acoustic version, which I believe was distributed by Wal-Mart. It perfects the song in amazing ways, and makes the song a real stunner with new depths of emotion. That version was quickly added to my long list of best songs of all time.

So overall, Daughtry's best song, and it deserves all its praise. Try to get the acoustic version if you can, but either way, its a great song that'll always be remembered for American Idol.

This song is a good way to introduce yourself to Daughtry. It really shows what kind of music they make. Very good song over all.

I first heard it during an American Idol episode and then in the radio. This song sounds great.
