Really nice!,

This review is from: HomeFare HF-112M Solar Garden Glo Yard Light, Multi-Color (Lawn & Patio)
These lights are very nice. They are pretty and last a good while. I have had 6 of them for several years now, and still enjoy them very much. Of course, as with any item like this, some are going to short out. Of the 6, I've had two die on me recently; I believe the bulbs have shorted out. So now I have 4 left, and if I could figure out a way to fix or change the bulbs, I'd love to.
To the person who "reviewed" for no reason other than to mention he/she was thinking of buying them but thought they would be tiny, they aren't tiny at all. They are actually about 16 inches tall from base (not including spike) to top, and the lighted part is about 11-12 inches of that. The "bubble" effect is also very cool. Only problem is they don't last as long after you own them awhile. When I first bought them, they'd still on until about 5 or 6 in the morning; now, they last until about 2. If you want a really bright solar light that doesn't fade, try the Starburst LED color change lights - however, they only change from red to blue to green, but they are quite bright. My only complaint is price. C'mon, it's a solar light! Just to buy enough to line the sidewalk could cost you hundreds of dollars at this price. I haven't bought them from this company myself, as I had bought a bunch of them for myself and for gifts when they were super cheap in the Solutions catalog, before Solutions quit carrying them. Anyway, give this light a try if you can find it cheaper. It's definitely eye-catching and worth having in your yard!

NON SLOAR LIGHT,

This review is from: HomeFare HF-112M Solar Garden Glo Yard Light, Multi-Color (Lawn & Patio)
WE ORDERED TWO OF THESE LIGHTS, AND ONLY ONE WOULD CHARGE AND COME ON AT NIGHT. RETURNED THE DEFECTIVE MULTICOLOR LIGHT, AND WAITED FOR A REPLACEMENT. WE RECEIVED THE NEW LIGHT IN A FEW SHORT WEEKS. WHEN WE PLACED IN OUR YARD, WE FOUND IT WAS ALSO DEFECTIVE.
(WILL NOT CHARGE)IT DOES COME ON AT NIGHT LIKE THE GOOD ONE, ONLY NEED TO REPLACE THE ENERGIZER BATTERYS EVERY THREE OR FOUR WEEKS. I THINK THIS PRODUCT NEEDS MORE QUALITY CONTROL.AT THIS POINTE WE ARE 33.3 % SATISFIED. LARRY REHFIELD

This looks nothing like the picture. It does glow in diff colors but it very difficult to see the colors even though fully charged. Not worth the money at all. The floating color changing ball is much better get that one.
