This is a great product when it works. My first one lasted a week. Sent it back to the manufacturer for a warranty replacement. Received a new one and this one worked for a day. I enjoyed the machine, but I can't recommend it.

I used this once, and it seemed ok, though I goofed and overcooked the steaks so I was willing to give it another go. Tonight I went to use it and it ran for half a cycle then stopped. I went to check on it and it had turned itself off. I pressed the button to re-start it and all it does is make a loud buzzing noise and nothing else. Even after taking the suction unit off and testing it in free air all it does is make a loud buzzing noise, like the internal pump has seized. Now all I have for my money is a cheesy plastic dish with a hole in the top of the lid.

What a worthless pile of crap.

Used mine about 5 times before the motor went on it. Only paid $30, so no big deal, but pretty poor quality and real loud.

I would just take about 4 extra hours and properly marinate the meat.

I bought this machine after the cover of the hand pump kind of marinator that I used to use broke for the third time. This machine is terrific. It is easy to use, and the level of vacuum is set automatically so I don't have to pump anything and the cover doesn't break. The container is a perfect size for family meals and it cleans easily. It takes 5 - 10 minutes to go through a cycle of marinating, and you're done! My only quibble is that the motor is noisy, but since it works well, I can overlook that. Pricey, but well worth it.

I'd never used a marinater so I was a little skeptical when I bought this. I love making marinades & grilling and for years I dealt with either letting the meat sit overnight or grilling meat that only marinated for 30 minutes or so. Now everything is perfectly marinated in 10 minutes! I'm not quite sure how/why it works, but it absolutely does! I've only had it for a month now but I use it all the time. I've used it the past four nights on fish, pork, shrimp, and chicken. All came out awesome! The marinades in the manual are great, but you can use your own too. If you're a grill fiend like me, you won't be disappointed with this purchase!!!

Awful product- never worked. No customer service to resolve issues. Attempted to get it to work several times, and had no results. The pump never worked at all. All it did was buzz, and never work. Junk.

I used this vacuum marinator about 8 times before the motor seized up and made the famous buzzing noise everyone's talking about. While it worked, it did a spectacular job of marinating the meats I prepared, but I just can't recommend it as it is cheaply made and just doesn't last. It's really too bad because I really liked the results when it worked.

When I first bought this machines I was very impressed, my steaks tasted like they marinated for a couple days. I was very happy that I didn't have to plan ahead because I used to marinate my steaks for a couple days before grilling. Its only downfall how loud it was. It is now about 5 months later and it only operates about half of the time it used to take. I have to run the cycle three times to get the same result I originally got. I also notice that is sounds like it is going to die every time I run it. I will still use it until it dies so I don't have to plan ahead, but I can assure you I will not be buying this machine again.

I bought another product from them and it broke after using TWICE. I called Home Wet Bar and spoke to the manager about fixing it or getting a replacement, and she did not want to help at all! It was past the 45 day return policy and even though it broke on second use it did not matter. HORRIBLE customer service, will never purchase from this company again.

Bought this over a year ago, and used maybe 5 times. Just decided to break(pun intended) it out of the cabinet and use again. About halfway through the cycle, it decided to stop working and make a very loud humming noise... sounds like motor is shot, or something similar. Out of 1 year warranty period, so assuming it will be in the trash by evening.
