5.0 out of 5 stars My first book by Rochelle Alers, November 29, 2003

I read this book over Chritmas break last year and I have become a big fan of her work. I mean at first I didn't know that Tyler Cole was apart of a whole family who had stories about their lives too.
Tyler Cole is a doctor, 41, and Dana Nichols, 33, came back to Mississippi to find out what really happen to her parents twenty-three years ago. The book is a love story mixed in with a mysetry. Tyler knew that he wanted Dana for her wife. He just had to convince her of that. And that's what he did. She met him and in two weeks they were engaged.
Within six weeks, he had met, bedded, wedded, and impregnated Dana with a little boy later named after Tyler's father, Martin. Now that's the kind of man I like.
I haven't gotten around to reading the whole Hideaway series, but I guess that means I have something to look forward too. Good job on HOMECOMING.

4.0 out of 5 stars Homecoming, October 23, 2002
This review is from: Homecoming (Arabesque) (Mass Market Paperback)
Rochelle Alers latest book features Dana Nichols an Investigating reporter and Tyler Cole a research OB/GYN. Dana has come back to Hillsboro, MS to bury her last family member and also to try to clear her father's name in the murder/suicide of her mother. What she didn't plan is finding and falling in love with Hillsboro's sexy new doctor Tyler Cole.

Tyler was ask by the Surgeon General to relocate to Hillsboro and do a study on infant mortality. When he arrives there he falls in love with the small country town and builds a house. When he had the house design he just wanted to make sure there was enought room for when his family comes to visit. He never thought that he would need the space for his future wife and children. Being dedicated doctor he always considered himself married to his work. But when he rescues Dana, he is instantly attracted to her beauty and determination.

You will be drawn into this story from the Prolugue and not be able to put the book down until you are finished. I only have two things that I didn't like and they were: the climax seemed rushed at the end. To the point were you think you missed something and there were some typing errors that a proofreader should have caught. But once you get over that this was another excellent book by Ms Alers. It was nice to be brought up to date with the other family members from her previous books.

I LOVED THIS BOOK.THE AUTHOR DID A WONDERFUL JOB WITH THE CHARACTERS.AS ALWAYS! MS.ALERS CONTINUES TO SHINE. I HAVE NEVER READ A BOOK OF HERS THAT WASN'T INTERESTING AND OR KEPT MY ATTENTION UNTIL THE VERY END. OTHER WRITERS CAN LEARN FROM HER.I HOPE THAT SHE CONTINUES TO WRITE ABOUT THE LEGACY. I HATE TO SEE IT GO.TO THE PEOPLE WHO ARE UPSET THAT I DIDN'T GO INTO DETAIL. I AM TRULY SORRY!IF I START TALKING ABOUT THE CHARACTERS I WILL GIVE THE BOOK AWAY. I WILL SAY THIS SOME OF HER OLD BOOKS (NO COMPROMISE, JUST BEFOR DAWN, AND HER BOOKS WITHIN THE HIDEAWAY SERIES ARE BETTER. I JUST REALLY STARTED READING THESE TYPES OF BOOKS.) I WOULD START IN ORDER FOR A BETTER EFFECT! THANK YOU AND HAVE A NICE DAY.
