It is comfortable and was easy to put together.

For me, it works kind of like an inversion table...I raise my arms above my head and the chair tilts backward.

If it was not so much trouble to return, I would send it back.

Ours held up great. the leg rest is usually not a problem. It is supposed to stick automatically and then retract just by lifting it up and dropping it. It usually does that OK. This chair is very comfortable, and the reclining feature is fantastic. It is well-balanced and easy to assemble. The massage is quite good and effective. BTW, there is nothing even close to this in versatility out there for even double the money. Homedics is a good brand. ***** 5 Stars!

Nice chair, fully functional but wasn't fully satisfied. The leg rest has to be released with much force, and you have to put the leg rest back down manually. The massagers were okay, it needs a massager for the neck. Overall, the product is nice but wish I had known about the leg rest...

I am very happy with my conversion recliner . It is doing exactly what I wanted it to. I suffer from Lymphadema (Fluid retention) and I sit in it for one hour a day with my legs in the air and it is helping to alleive my problem.
It was to expensive to buy on QVC but after a search and I found it at Amazon for their price I bought it right away. It is comfortable and was easy to put together.
Thankyou

I LOVE this chair! It's so much better than I expected! It's extremely comfortable, easy to put together. Also, the padding is perfect. I don't feel any bars in my back and I don't have any trouble adjusting the position of the chair. For me, it works kind of like an inversion table...I raise my arms above my head and the chair tilts backward. If I want it to tilt even further back, I simply raise my knees a little and then lock it into place. Also, the heat and vibration are incredible! I usually don't like vibration health-devices...but this one is GREAT! This chair offers a choice of different patterns and speeds for the vibration and it goes all the way up the back and down each leg. This is now my favorite piece of furniture in my house. I Highly recommend it. If you order one, I hope you're as happy with it as I am with mine. :)

UPDATE:
I changed my review from 5 stars to 3 because the massage feature of my chair stopped working. I don't know what happened, one day it worked, the next it didn't. I was very disappointed. I have not contacted the manufacturer but plan to. Still, it's comfortable and enjoyable to sit in.

I am rating this 5 stars just for the fact it is a very decent quality TRUE zero gravity recliner - that means you can indeed fully recline with your feet above the level of your head. The vast majority of so-called zero gravity recliners are just a chaise lounge and come nowhere close to true zero gravity. This chair does and for that reason I give it the highest rating. It is sturdy and stable and has a nice spring-controlled feature to prevent you from rocketing backward as you go back into the zero gravity position. It's much heavier than I expected - not a bad thing since it just adds to the stability feature. I had a true zero gravity recliner from Backsavers which I paid $1600 for a few years back. It lasted exactly 5 years and fell apart - just as the warranty expired. This chair is at least 95% as sturdy as that chair was and it is 1/8th the price. If it lasts even two years I will be satisfied - and I think it will probably last at least as long as the Backsaver chair did.

I have not even tried the massage feature so I have no comment on that. I added a nice memory foam topper to this chair so I doubt the massager would work through it anyway. I bought it purely because I really missed the REAL zero gravity position - incredibly relaxing and stress-relieving. I didn't want to pay another $1600 or more for a Human Touch or one of the more expensive chairs and was simply not satisfied with a LaFuma "zero gravity" (laughable since it is just a foldable lounge chair - even though it is comfortable it does not give you the delicious REAL zero gravity experience) recliner. This chair is just a few bucks more than a LaFuma and 1/8th the price of the high-dollar chairs but it gives you true, comfortable, and reliable zero gravity reclining and simply cannot be beat for the quality and price. I am more than happy with the purchase.

I have the older version of this chair, when my son decided to use it as a landing pad at the bottom of the steps, 4 of the 12 motors stopped working. In a panic, I set out to find a replacement because there is no info out there to be able to fix them. I found the newer updated version of the chair. The new version didn't look as sturdy as the older version and had 2 less motors, so I didn't know how well I would like it. The shipping took longer than expected, only because of the weather, it was to be delivered during a blizzard! The box that it came in was around 65 lbs, and it was pretty easy to put together. The only problem was 2 of the washers were fused together. I had the chair put together in about 30 minutes, and I'm a woman! When I sat in the chair for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised, the chair is 100x more comfortable than the old version. I read the reviews regarding the foot rest, but the older version had the same issues. You are really unable to lift it up, when your in the air. Also like the older version, the left lever doesn't work, I think it's just a flaw in the product, as the older one's left side didn't work at all either. I use this chair daily, the heater on this chair vs. the older chair works 10x better. All in all, it's a blessing in disguise that my son broke my older one, because now I have a better more comfortable chair. The old one still works, however only the back motors work. If you need a full body massage, and don't want to pay big bucks for a chair, I would totally recommend this chair. It's certainly worth the money. Just wish the price was this low when I purchased it 3 weeks ago!
