We had a challenging night last night, plumbing backing up and no plumber available until the next day. Everyone had to take cold cold showers in the back room and my feet were sore and swollen (I had so been looking forward to a bath!)

Then my husband found this hidden away in the garage (I received it as a gift years ago). It was so much better than I remembered! He filled it with hot water and turned it on. I added some peppermint foot soak :) and it was so nice i was tempted to sleep in the bathroom.

This unit is fabulous at the currently listed price (circa $25) so much so that I am tempted to order one as a back-up in case mine ever fails... or my daughter spirits it away to college.

Unlike some of the more expensive units, this one has heat. (Note: the heater will maintain the temperature after it is filled with hot water but will not bring it up to temp, or will take a very long time doing so). Still, given that some of the higher end units do not have this, it is a nice feature, and kept it warm for over an hour (as long as I had it on). It also has bubble jets and a massager (though all the massager does is vibrate). The bubble jets, however, turned my (typically non-foaming) soak into a bubble bath. I am in awe of what you get for the price (not knowing what the price was until I looked it up to review). I can not compare it to other "foot spas" but can say that it works very well, so much so that I came to write it up and recommend it before I knew the price, and am now tempted to buy a second!

This massager makes a ton of noise, so forget a relaxing foot soak. It bubbles, but in order to get a "massage" you have to slide your feet back and forth over the raised bumps on the bottom of the tub. I started out with hot water, thinking the "with heat" aspect would keep the water hot, but after less than 10 minutes the water is lukewarm at best. In all fairness, the instruction book says it will not heat COLD water, but I foolishly thought it would keep hot water hot. It doesn't. This is going back to the store TODAY! Save your money, look elsewhere.

Got one of these at Walmart, and it's going back tomorrow. It's very loud, it doesn't keep water warm, and it doesn't massage. It's like a loud electronic bucket.

Noisy and does not stay warm, I do all the work to massage my feet by rubbing them back and forth on tiny massage tools..where is the relaxation?

I purchased this foot massager for my husband and it is a piece of PLASTIC CRAP!!!! In RED letters on all six sides of the box in English AND Spanish, it proclaims "WITH HEAT"... there is NO HEATING element and loses heat faster than hot water put into a five gallon bucket! I am soooo disappointed and will not buy another HOMEDICS product again!

This thing is so loud it gives me a headache after about ten minutes of use. I end up having to shut it off as I soak my feet in. Doesn't make much of a difference because the bubbles suck and don't do anything either.

You can't activate the heat without the bubbles and the heat doesn't really seem to do much at all. And it is LOUD! Don't expect to watch TV, listen to music, have a phone call, or anything else while using this.

Disappointing, Just use a tub of water instead as it just bubbles a little and that is it. Not worth the trouble to plug it in.

This product is noisy and does not keep the water warm. I am not pleased with this purchase and my neighbor, who lives downstairs, most likely is not pleased with the noise.

I knew that it didn't heat water and wasn't looking for a $100 foot spa, but I still was disappointed. I bought this on sale at Macy's for under $20 and simply wanted a place to soak my feet with bubbles. I was hoping for a few more bubbles than what I got. For the amount of noise the unit makes, you'd think there would be bubbles a'plenty, but you (like me) would be terribly wrong. Unlike the report of others, that water stayed plenty warm for me, but the one thing I wanted I didn't really get.

And then there is the illusive "fill line". I looked everywhere and couldn't find it, so I ended up filling it to where I figured the fill line should be.

So, I didn't pay a lot for it, but honestly, it's much easier for me to continue to use the foot bath bucket that I have been using all along. My feet didn't feel any more invigorated after using this foot spa. Returning this to Macy's in the morning.
