Not being mobile enough to enjoy the summer breeze in the trees, the indoor wind chimes are wonderful. The sound can be regulated with ease. With the battery power option, it is easily placed anywhere in the home. It is a welcome source of tranquility. It is definitely a great gift idea, but purchase two! You will want one to keep for yourself.

If you love the sound of tinkling wind chimes outdoors, wait until you hear the wonderful EnviraScape Wind Chimes. This programmable product allows you to adjust up or down the frequency of the tinkling sound and its calming and soothing effect is wonderful. When I am at home, I leave the chimes on all day to bring in the outdoors. In the evening, I love to light one of my favorite scented candles, have a hot cup of my favorite beverage and just relax to its soothing tones, great after a frazzled day. I highly recommend this product.

Growing up, I loved to visit my Grandma & hang out in her backyard; it was always a wonderful place to relax. A gentle breeze constantly blew wind chimes around at varied times, to create a melodious atmosphere of peace. I hate those "relaxation" ocean/wind/etc. machines that repeat the same noise over, over & over again without any variation--they're So Annoying & drive me bonkers! No wind outside-No problem! This Homedics wind chime is AWESOME because you can turn the wind on varied speeds, so the fan blows often or less, depending on your mood! I had it about 1 year, used it often & it didn't annoy me once. I liked it so much....I bought another, but then the 1st one died--that was a bummer, but it wasn't a total waste--I threw away the base and put the wind chime itself outside on my balcony. Enjoy!

These windchimes have the most gentle chime and a beautiful tone. I absolutely LOVE windchimes of all kinds and to have an indoor one tickles me to death! I've had mine over 2 years and it works perfectly, even if left on all day.

I bought these as a birthday gift for a friend who loves wind chimes, but lives in an apartment without a balcony. I don't dislike wind chimes, but I've never sought them out, so I didn't expect to enjoy these chimes as much as I did. He unpacked the box, assembled the chimes, and left them on for the evening.

The (very quiet) fan in the base of the unit turns on and off at random intervals. The distance between the intervals can be set using the "plus" and "minus" buttons on the unit.

Wind chimes outdoors are either still or chiming without pause in the wind. The random breeze caused by the fan allows these indoor chimes to chime and then pause, causing them to sound like a musical instrument being quietly played. I think I'll have to order a set for myself -- it was a lovely and soothing background sound, and I was sorry when my friend packed up the chimes and took them home.

I love the sound wind chimes make and with the Indoor Wind Chimes ~ you can hear chimes whenever you want instead of waiting for the wind to blow your outdoor chimes. I like the versatility of it being battery operated or using the electricity. I also like that you can make it chime more or less depending on how often you want to hear it. Great gift idea for yourself or someone who loves chimes.

Some people adore wind chimes, I am one of them! I found this product to be VERY easy to use. Because the sound is made with actual wind from a (very quiet) fan, it's very natural, that cannot be duplicated with a CD!

After 2 years of nearly daily usage it's still working great!

Man nothing is better than taking a nap with wind chimes on. I don't understand how some people hate them!

My mom is a windchime lover! so when I saw this electric windchime, I knew I wanted her to have them. I gave them to her as a gift, and they never leave her kitchen counter - she plays them quite frequently. A nice gift for windchime enthusiasts.

I absolutely loved this indoor windchime, but within a week of getting it, the fan stopped working. I tried contacting Homedics Customer Service by e-mail and got no response. Very disappointing.

There is just something soothing about the right combination of chimes and this nifty device offers you both the conveneince of movable chimes with a melodic tune. Definitely for gadget lovers but also for those who have never really had wind chimes before. Simple to place anywhere and very pleasant to listen to.
