This entry-level, full-length massage pad unrolls like a sleeping bag and has a simple control unit attached by a short cord on the right side. The control unit has one switch for each of the five motors, an on/off switch for heat, and a power control for selecting off/low/medium/high. Thinner than the more sophisticated HoMedics models, it's best used on a rug or bed, and you may want a towel over it so you don't get poked by the motor units within. Like all full-body massage pads, it works best flat or nearly flat. Made from soft foam, with a zippered cover. --Richard Farr

This is a nice little mat massager. My sister got one for Christmas and when I reacently had a stiff neck and back from over excercising she loaned it to me. 15 minutes later I felt refreshed, relaxed and the pain was relieved. I was sold and had to get one right away.

My only negative comments relate to the placement of the massage units. They did not hit the right places on any of our family members regardless of the height. I would use it on a rug or with a towel over it for comfort.
