I've gone through 2 Homedics Paraspas in 16 months. The first broke in 2 months and the second in 14 months. They replaced the first, but not the second. I bought the larger size, which they don't appear to even sell anymore. I suggest buying a different brand.

I received the larger ParaSpa as a gift so that I could use it on my feet as well as my hands. I live in the Midwest and it was nice in the cold dry wintry months.

I used my ParaSpa for two seasons but when I plugged it in the third season, nothing happened. I thought maybe it was just a fuse or something simple. I tried to contact HoMedics to help me trouble shoot but their customer service is non-existent.

I borrowed my daughter's smaller ParaSpa and the same thing happened. It seems like they should be built to last more than a year or two. We have enough junk in our landfills without going through small electronics at this rate.

Does what it should. Nothing fancy. The container is not too deep though.

As I have recently suffered the misfortune to develop painful arthritis in my hands, I decided to try parafin baths for relief. So far the jury is out. The treatment feels good at the time, but I'm not sure there's much lasting benefit, and keeping the parafin liquid means keeping the unit plugged in all the time.

I just started using this and so far it's just fine. I've had professional manicures and pedicures using a paraffin bath and they're wonderful. When I broke my wrist a couple of years ago the physical therapist had me use a paraffin bath to loosen my wrist, so when my daughter bought this for my birthday this year, I was thrilled! The temperature is just right and my skin and wrist feel great afterward. After reading the other reviews, I'm just hoping it holds up...otherwise it'll go back to the store I'll buy a large crockpot and a lot of paraffin!

I purchased this Paraffin Wax Spa item for one of my children. The sensory experiences of the melted wax are just perfect!

The paraffin bath helps to smooth away dry skin. It also temporarily comforts the aches of arthritis. The way I do this in the winter months is to put on some soothing music, dip my hands a few times, and relax for about 15 minutes. Nice! I think others would enjoy this as well.

The ParaSpa is great because of it's size, but mostly because as a diabetic we can regulate the heat. Thanks

Exactly what I was looking for. Purchased for a male friend as a gift. Men absolutly love it for their rough dry hands. My husband and I have had one for years and works great.

I love it! Use it 3 times a week! Works just as good as the hight priced ones!
