I had to take a cross country drive, after fracturing a vertebrae 5 months prior. I still had an "achey" back and heat relaxes the muscles around it.

This is the third heated massager I bought before I found an acceptable one for my needs. The plus is that the heat portion is flatter, and does not irritate my back like the others. (The others felt like a hard ball in the center of my back while driving.) The only negative is that the vibration needs to be on before the heat works. But you can control where the massage is working, and also either low or high massage.

I would recommend the product, unless you only need heat.

This is a fairly good massage chair for the price, it has adequate vibration and the heat is decent, although it only functions on the higher back area.

One thing to note however is it tends to be on the small side, I'm 6' 4" and the seat end mid thigh and the motors in the seat press into my legs uncomfortably. So if you are a tall or large person you may find the seat to be a bit small, however I placed a pillow over the seat portion as it's mainly for my lower back, and it works fine. :)

After falling off a ladder a while back my husband had been having nagging back aches. He had bought two other similar massage cushions but they just didn't work well. He purchased the Homedics VC-150 and is very impressed with it. The seat is soft, heat is evenly distributed and massage is directed to the specific areas of the back. He is highly impressed and is feeling more like his old self again, plus the price is great. We highly recommend this product.

The heat and massage work very well compared to other similar products I have tried. I bought this particular one because of the upper leg massage option. I have sciatica and my legs and glute muscles get so tight and painful. The first day using this I did notice some relief from that tightness. The heating portion of the product gets very warm, which is good if someone is worried about it not having a strong enough heating pad. It also came with a convenient adapter to use in the car.

I have used the masssager in the house and in the car. It was wonderful

My son-in-law is in the construction business and his back is alway "tight and sore." Since I sent him the VC-150 as a gift he uses it EVERY NIGHT. He rarely gets off of it long enough for his wife (my daughter) to use it. I may have to send her one.

I have searched department and drug stores for a long time for tis type of massage cushion. This cushion is awsome, it works the lower back and thigh areas, it also has heat. The cushion is not too long or too short for me. I have ostropendia in my lower back and hip, the pain and stiffness is bad after sitting for a long period of time on my job. Using this item at work reduce the pain and allow me to move freely when i get up. The motor is quiet while sitting on it. I search department and drug stores for this item. I truely love this item.

This is my second Heated Massage Cushion. I will always purchase a Homedics products for it's reliability and durability. Use this cushion in my car and it's nice to have a warm seat in the winter.

Vibrates and provides a little heat. Could be useful during a long drive just to keep awake and maybe relieve a little stiffness. For at home or office it hasn't been very valuable. I recomend spending the extra money and getting a Shiatsu version.

i bought this several weeks ago.. for the price, its a good massager especially with the heat, thats the best part of it. it is easy to control and i can even plug it it my car while im driving... its a good product but dont expect something that a 2 G's massager chair can do... =)
