This is my second artesian globe design tabletop water fountain. I had my first one for about 3 years. Then it finally died. So I searched everywhere for another one.
I only found it at Amazon. My cat drinks from this and she loves it! It has a little light in it and glows at night. Everyone loves it.
But Max, my cat, loves it the most. She actually seemed to be mourning for it until I found another one. I've tried a couple of different tabletop
water fountains and this design (the globe)is the best so far. It doesn't have to be fed water everyday like the other ones. It does not splash water which
is the main reason I like this design the best. The others splashed all over the table, which is wood. The only down to this (and all of them really)
is they come with rocks or marbles to put around the bottom. They make look better with rocks, but I don't use these, because it gets a slimy film on
the rocks after a while. That isn't good for the water that my cat is drinking. So you have to wash the slime off periodically. Other than that, I hope this one lasts another 3 years and they keep on making this design. I would definitely purchase this product again.

I'm surprised how much I love this fountain. I was a little nervous about the 'mosaic' ball, didn't want it to be too over the top, and it's not, just a beautiful accent to my home. I would like to hear the water a little louder but it's good enough for the price. The light was a bit too bright so I covered the bulb with some dark nail polish and it subdued it nicely. Glad I purchased this one. I like this fountain so much that I've purchased a second one for the front rooms in my home, it's absolutely lovely! My cat loves it too!

I have gotten so many complements on this, everyone thinks that it is so pretty and calming. I have it on my desk at work, and I have throughly enjoyed it.

Someone made a nice video about this fountain which prompted me to order it- it came and I was really excited about it! I set it up and it does look nice- the globe is plastic so no worries about it breaking. But the motor has two problems- the first is that the bottom on the inside of the bowl is textured, so I don't know how those little suction cups are supposed to hold the motor down on it- so the motor just floats around inside- which causes more noise. BUT even if the bottom was smooth and I was able to secure the motor down it is still way too loud- I could barely hear the water. I did make sure there was plenty of water in it, so that wasn't it- it's just how the motor sounds. I think I'll look into spending a bit more money for a good fountain.

the water pump is quiet, but the gears that turn the globe sound like a small chopper. The only way to hear the water, is to hold the globe still. If there was a means to turn off the gears, I would love this product, but a small chopper in the room isn't my idea of relaxation.

I have had this fountain for several weeks now and love it. Easy to set up and IT DOES NOT SPLASH!. Have had one in the past that actually messed up the finish on the desk it was sitting on with the fine mist that was created while it was on. This one does not do that (or has not done it so far).

My office has high-tech machinery that requires a dry environment. That's great for the machinery but awful for human beings. Our skin, eyes, and noses are very uncomfortable but we can't use a typical humidifier. This small fountain looks exactly like the photo. It disperses some moisture into the room without hurting the machinery or wetting my desk. I was concerned that it might be noisy and distracting but it's silent. The glass mosiac dome lights up and is very pretty, too. People comment on how nice it is, and for $20 it's a tremendous bargain. My only complaint or wish is that there could have been a few more glass pebbles to completely cover the bottom. It arrived in perfect condition.

It looks lovely from a distance and gives off a nice cast in a dim lit setting. It is, however, made of cheap material and a little noisier than anticipated. Packaging does not include an adequate amount of glass stones to cover the base surface that the globe rests on so that will be additional expense. Overall, it does the job it is designed for and if utilized in a dimly lit setting no-one will notice the negative features but the person who maintains it.
