This was a sweet tale to read around Christmas. It was a sweet story about how a small boy brought two people back together. Jillian Hart has always been able to tug on my heartstrings and this story was no different. The emotion that she gives to her characters makes the reader feel as if they know them. I enjoyed reading this book very much!!

After following Ali's life in many of the previous Hometown Hero's books I personally loved this book. This little guy had so much heart it broke my heart ...it was so wonderful to see his life come to such a fulfilling completion. And Sarah was truly filled with so much love which was what poor Mike who had seen and felt so responsible for so much grief needed.

Jillian as always, managed to make me laugh, cry, hurt and this time even feel pride for those that serve our country another excellent book.
