Upbeat and amazing!, January 4, 2010

This album features a great variety of modern African music. I found this CD sometime after falling in love with Paul Simon's "Graceland", and was immensely pleased to find the same kind of energy and rhythms that inspired Simon on that album. The music is up-tempo and cheerful. It always puts me in a good mood and energizes me - it's perfect for listening to while I'm doing active work like cooking or cleaning.
A note: the main image of the cover that Amazon is currently showing (with "David Bromberg" in big letters) is not the actual cover. As far as I can tell, David Bromberg has nothing to do with this album. The customer image (pink with a geometric design) is the real cover.
