I was a little nervous about purchasing this kitchen table set. I am so very glad I bought it. It is so sturdy and a really beautiful set! It matches my kitchen perfectly and is a nice size. My boyfriend put it together in about an hour. The chairs take the most time to get together. It was quite heavy upon delivery. The delivery was great....only bad thing is getting an 8 hr time span for the delivery. Plan on sticking around home for an entire day. I give this table 5 stars and really love it!

Purchased this table for an eat-in kitchen in a rental property I own, and had it shipped to the tenants. The tenants told me it was very easy to assemble, looked great, and is very sturdy.

... Assembly was easy - but, I like to assemble my own furniture and have done this with a variety of things and so am used to it. The directions were very easy and no additional tools are needed. It took me 40 minutes to assemble the table and two chairs and then another 15 minutes to assemble the other two chairs. (I am a 5'4 petite female)

The set is beautiful. I looked at so many online and in stores. I couldn't belive how much some places were charging - ... spending less ... on an entire set was very satisfying but I worried that it would look and feel cheap. Not so. It is a solid, sturdy set. It is a little lighter looking than in the picture and not quite as glossy (both good things in my opinion). The chairs wobble a bit (not when being sat on), but I think I can fix that with some scuff pads.

My husband is also satisfied with this set and he is a tough customer when it comes to chair sturdiness. We both think it is beautiful and are so happy with the entire experience.

Great looking set for the money! It matches well with our light maple cabinetry. Wood quality and stability is pretty good. Came well packed. Docking rating a notch for assembly. The assembly was easy to understand, but not easy to execute...takes one person about an hour of hand cranking nuts and bolts.

This set is beautiful. Heavy, natural wood, love the color and the weight. Since purchasing this set, have filled my home with this line from Target.com. There was a problem with this set, out of twenty-something purchases, this was the one and only. The hardware and two legs were missing. Target could not send the replacement parts, so they are sending another entire set (at no charge) so we can pick out what is needed to complete our set, then they will have the extra set picked up. Is that not absolutely awesome. Unfortunately, this type of customer service is all too rare. So buy with complete confidence, not only is the quality and workmanship great, but you have the support if you need it.

I have been looking for a dinette set for a long time and thought it would be cheaper to get a second hand set. After much internet searching, I found this set on Target and realized I wouldn't have to go through the hassle of going to pick up a set but instead have it delivered to my door and carried up to my second floor apt. door. The price wasn't bad either for a brand dinette set. ... the set is a good size and very sturdy.

It looks so beautiful & it is , however the box was damaged in shipping also - which did affect the product - 2 of the chairs have broken the same way as stated in another comment by falling less than a foot off of the groud the over all quality seems to be poor when it comes to the set up - the wood on the table top itself was split & cracked at delivery. ...

I was so excited to find just the perfect table for our newly remodeled kitchen after looking everywhere! When it arrived, my husband put it together, but one of the unassembled chair backs slipped out of the shipping box and onto the floor and the top back split right off. We thought it was our fault (even though it fell with little force), but in the last two weeks, two more chairs have broken in exactly the same manner - the dowels inside which hold the top piece on, break like glass when they are hit with just the slightest force (one chair fell from about a foot from the floor. I feel so sad that what we thought was a perfect solution for our kitchen is turning into junk! The chairs can be fixed (if you have woodworking tools and are handy), but I fear that it will be a constant problem. Three out of the four chairs are damaged - one will never be right as the wood split in addition to the dowels breaking. ...
As much as I love the way the set looks, I'd have to advise against purchasing unless you plan to keep them like they're museum pieces!

Wood grain is not tight - already seperating after 1 week - chairs are of poor manfacturing - 2 of the back rails were broken - groves very far apart no tight seems & joints are exposed - Don't waste your money or time. If your wanting an investment for your money or even something to last a year this is not it for the price.

Arrived without a scratch or dent via UPS, despite having to be hauled up two flights of stairs by the delivery driver. Assembly was easy, but a little time consuming. I assembled the table in 15 minutes-the most difficult part of assembly was flipping the table upright. In retrospect, I should have asked someone to help me. It took me about 110 minutes to assemble everything and clean up. There were no extra pieces of hardware provided, so be careful not to lose anything.

It's very nice in appeance. I was dreading the "yellow putty," but it's really not prevalent or noticeable at all. The set is very simple, functional, and attractive-exactly what I like in furniture. It's also a nice size for serving four people, and would accomodate 5 or 6 (but likely not comfortably).
