"There is nothing like the feeling you get when someone says how lovely something is that you are wearing, have in your home, or have given as a gift and you can reply, "I made it." From the The Homemade Home by Sania Pell
Sania Pell is an author, interiors stylist and designer from London, England. She is known for her creative input and bringing a unique, handmade aspect to her photographic shoots for publications including Elle Decoration, The Sunday Telegraph and The Mail on Sunday. Sania has a degree in textile design from Edinburgh College of Art. After graduating, she worked for one of London's top textile design studios for seven years, producing designs using materials such as paint, ink, collage and embroidery for both fashion and furnishing. Her designs were purchased by companies such as Armani, Monsoon, Laura Ashley, Gap and Marks & Spencer. She then retrained as a stylist, working on photo stories for numerous magazines and newspapers, as well as for commercial clients. Sania lives in West London with her husband and two young children.
"The simple but stunning projects from Sania Pell's new book, The Homemade Home, had us reaching for our craft baskets." Emma Dublin, Editor, Good Homes magazine), May 2010
"Sania Pell's book is about cheap chic but her work doesn't look remotely cheap! It's perfect for anyone who likes a "crafty" home filled with individual items." Scottish Sunday Mail, Sept 2010

Really a cute book. Good ideas for children. Some a little silly, but most are fun. I plan to try some out.Published on February 3, 2014 by Teresa Parker
