Elisabetta Parisi knows about pasta and it is her passion for pasta over the year that has resulted in the production of this book. Pasta is in her blood and in her genes. The first version of this book released on Kindle was a much shorter production which concentrated on the accurate making of a limited number of pasta doughs. This book was praised for being short, sweet and to the point. Many people bought the book and it proved to be very popular in the Italian section where it quickly became number 1 in the top 100 books sold. Based on this success, Elisabetta has reviewed and extended the material in the original book so that it contains far more pasta dough ideas including how to produce a variety of stuffed pasta and dessert pasta. This then resulted in the version of the book currently published as a paperback and on Kindle as well. I am a huge fan of Italian food, and couldn't wait to make my own pasta dough. I was worried that it would be a very taxing, complicated and tough process, but this book made it so easy! It's well written, filled with detailed instructions, and makes pasta a great way to spend the day! I love this book!

I wanted to try my hand at making pasta and needed some basic information and this book was just what I needed. It has not only some basic recipes, it also has a lot of useful information on different types of pasta and flours. If you are a beginner looking for some basic information this book is a perfect place to start.

I have only a couple concerns: 1) I really wish she'd included more pictures (pasta shapes & dishes). And 2: It would be easier if measurements were on BOTH US & metric (no consistency of use).
However, with the all of the amazing details and encouragement, I still rate this book 5-Star. This book is very inspiring!

I have always wanted to learn now to make all of my foods from scratch. I recently got a pasta machine, but, truthfully, everything I have read about making pasta has mad it sound difficult, and I have been to intimidated to try yet!

This book explains everything in great detail without making it sound overly complicated and difficult. It is not easy to maintain that balance, but the author does it perfectly!

She also lists so many types, methods, recipes, and suggestions to make your own recipes that, if you're interested in making pasta, this is the only book you'll need! She even includes recipients for filling and sauces, too! 5 stars, for sure!
