This is a great book. I have stopped buying cleaning products and almost all personal care products. I don't know how much money I'm saving, but it's loads. It took a little bit of time to re-organize things and find containers for all the products I started making, but it has been more than worth it! If you like doing things for yourself and are tired of paying through the nose for products that don't even work well half the time, you will love this book. My clothes have never been cleaner and I'm paying a fraction of the cost to get the clothes clean. Personally, I haven't looked at the food recipes too closely because I cook from scratch most of the time anyway, but they have some great recipes there as well.

Absolutely love this book, have used many times already! Highly recommend for every household, new and old!!

This is a 379 page book split in three sections: "In the Kitchen", "Health and Beauty Care for You and Yours", and ""Around the House". There ARE alot of food recipes. It's also a fun quirky read, filled with what looks like practical concoctions to make your own cleaning supplies. I admit I haven't used it alot yet, but I've enjoyed reading through it so far.

Love this book. This is actually the second copy of this book that I have purchased. When my grand daughter-in-law scanned mine, she liked it so much. She has 4 children with one on the way and she is all into saving money and using safe products. This book has it all! So I ordered one for her birthday because I did not want to part with mine.

This book provides more recipes than I imagined possible! From cooking & baking good-for-you stuff, to making your own cleaning or health & beauty products - these recipes are practical, simple, and designed to save money! This makes it well worth the purchase price!!!

I have wanted this book for a long time. A friend got it for me for Christmas. I have already used several of the hints and made some of the items. The book gives easy step by step instructions excellent for any one wanting to be more green.

I purchased this book for one of my daughter-in-laws because I have one and love it. Low and behold my other daughter- in-law also purchased the same book for the same person. When I tried to return the book I received a sad sobbed story from the seller as to why she does not accept returns. This really irritated me.

The book itself is wonderful and very helpful. Just purchase it directly from Amazon instead of an alternate seller!

I have used this book several times. I make my own laundry detergent and I am well satisified with it. I also make my own cleaning products and window cleaner, all with the instructions in this book. My daughter and my sister ordered one and they too have used it frequently.

Neat idea. Lots of practical applications though it will takes months or years to try it all out. I am heading out today to get a few of the baking and soap making basics.

I've owned this book for several years and just purchased a copy for my mother-in-law. It is a fantastic resource for homemade cleaners (laundry soap, dishwasher soap, window cleaner), pet products, food items (homemade versions of box mixes etc.), health & beauty stuff and more. It also has lots of great recipes! I recommend this book for anyone looking for easy ways to save money. All of the products I've used so far have been as good or better than their store-bought counterparts and less expensive as well.
