A Cure for Morning Sickness,
By A Customer
This review is from: Homeopathic Medicines for Pregnancy and Childbirth (Paperback)
I got this book when I was pregnant with my second child. How I wish that I had it for the first! With this book I was able to get rid of my morning sickness completely. I just read the stories and picked the story that most closely described the symptoms I was experiencing. I then bought the remedy suggested, and Voila! No more nausea! I would highly recommend this book to every pregnant woman. What do you have to lose? Homeopathic medicine has been around for hundreds of years and is completely safe. Give it a try!

This is a great book for parents-to-be who already use and believe in homeopathy. It is a little detailed for beginners. This should be required reading for every OB and Midwife. The case histories are wonderful!

I have found homeopathy to be incredibly helpful for me personally so I was very interested in a book on this topic. I did read the book cover-to-cover, however I was disappointed by the organization... it includes sections on "what to do when" BUT in other (unrelated) parts of the book it will throw out lines such as "XYZ is the best remedy to try in this situation" but there's no way you'd ever know that if you had simply used the index or looked in the section ABOUT that particular situation. So in order to get the full value out of the book, you'd have to memorize it cover-to-cover so you'll actually be able to find the information you need at the moment when you need it, without re-reading the entire thing.... which a person is very unlikely to be able to do during labor!

This is a good book if you are looking for homeopathic remedies to help with pregnancy symptoms. But if you are looking for remedies to use for illnesses or symptoms that happen during your pregnancy (i.e.congestion -which I've had since I became pregnant) than this book will not help in that department. This book DID help me in recommending remedies for different types of nausea and that was very useful. My nausea was not terrible, but it was annoying and the homepathic medicine he recommended for my "type" of nausea did help alleviate it short term.
