About the Author

Having dedicated most of his working life to the treatment of children, Dr. Didier Grandgeorge is Director of Clinical Training at the Faculty of Medicine in Marseille, France. Dr. Grandgeorge is one of the founders of the Hahnemannian School in Provence, France, and is editor of L'Homeopathie Exactement, the school's ongoing series of research publications, now in four volumes. He lives in Marseille with his wife and three children.

In his book Didier Grandgeorge gives an overview of life - from conception to death, and relates the most prominent homeopathic remedies to the developing person during the different phases of life. The text is concise and to the point. Especially the different stages of the life of children are very interesting and a must read for all parents. This is just another gem from Didier Grandgeorge, M.D.

Interesting, lively, clear, an excellent book for those who want to know:
* the why mental traumas have a deep and continuous impact from our birth to our death;
* which are the causes of our pathological tendencies and, of course,
* the homeopathic remedies that can help us to transcend the trauma and their suffering.
The illness is not an independent and dark entity that appears without reason in our life. It is a complex process whose roots penetrate deeply in our form of seeing the life, of acting and responding to our environment. Result that sickness is unavoidable, because it is unavoidable to suffer contrariness (traumas) which surpass our answer capacity and current balance.
But same way, for each trauma a cause exists, and for that cause an exactly, precise and appropriate homeopathic remedy exists, able to cure or at least to reinforce the patient's health.
Because of its psychoanalytical vision, based on Freudian theory of the psychic evolution, the author it is unable to see beyond the first effects of the cause; in consequence, it doesn't transcend to the person's deeper and more complex causes, the absolutely individual ones. That's why the star less for this excellent book.

Ameno, ágil, clarificante, un excelente libro para quienes desean comprender:
* porque los traumas mentales tienen un impacto profundo y continuo desde nuestro nacimiento hasta nuestra muerte;
* cuales son las causas de nuestras tendencias patológicas y, por supuesto,
* los remedios homeopáticos que pueden ayudarnos a trascender el trauma y su sufrimiento.
La enfermedad no es un ente independiente y oscuro que aparece sin razón en nuestra vida. Se trata de un proceso complejo cuyas raíces se hunden profundamente en nuestra forma de ver la vida, de actuar y de responder ante nuestro medio ambiente; de ahí que es inevitable enfermar, pues es inevitable sufrir contrariedades (traumas) que sobrepasan nuestra capacidad de respuesta y balance actual.
Pero de igual manera, para cada trauma existe una causa, y para esa causa existe un remedio homeopático exactamente preciso y adecuado capaz de curar o reforzar la salud del paciente.
Por su visión psicoanalítica, pues su base es la teoría freudiana de la evolución psíquica, el autor es incapaz de ver más allá de los primeros efectos de la causa; en consecuencia, no trasciende a las causas más profundas y complejas de la persona, las absolutamente individuales. De ahí la estrella menos para este excelente libro.
