Enjoyable "Home Improvement" Humor,

I am a homeowner who can really identify with this book, especially with sections like "Incentives to Get Your Friends to Help You Paint Your House," "Innovative Ways to Avoid Houseguests," and "10 Clues Your Neighbors are Rednecks" ("You can walk under their truck without bending over"...)Since I am a beginner, I appreciate "The Homeowner's Guide to Basic Tools," "Common Handyman Terms Explained," and "Lawn Ornaments that Violate Most Homeowner Association By-Laws." I think the illustrations are well chosen and add to the humor. This is real off the wall humor. It catches me off guard and makes me laugh. |
