I purchase this desk for my 76yr old roommate. My purpose was to find something nice looking and compact for a small area in his room and it fits perfectly. He is a craftman and love to build various models and this served his purpose. The drawers are roommy but the bottom draw did come apart as did the top molding, but nonetheless he is still able to use the desk for my/his intended purpose.
