This review is from: Homework for Thinkers: A Year's Worth of Creative Assignments to Stimulate Critical Thinking (Kids' Stuff) (Paperback)
Each page of this book features a set of data and space for a three-step reflective process. Students are to ask and answer their own questions about each data set. Each page focuses on a specific skill or concept and permits a level of self-discovery for typically spoon-fed topics. Students may need coaching on their first few attempts at this type of critical thinking activity; however, once they have done a few pages, it becomes addictive. This homework book is definitely different... but in a good way.
