Smashing True English Punk!!!
When I first heard 999 way back in '77 and saw them live both here in L.A. and San Francisco and once in London...I could never turn back! Nick Cash is so freakin' amazing, power-pop guitars, smart ass lyrics and so very tight... one of my top 10 faves of the era... DO NOT MISS THIS BAND! You can't not dance.

best of? i dont think so
Don't be fooled by the title; this is one of those compilations dictated by song rights etc and not by quality. The great songs from the first 2 albums are only here in live versions, while you get loads of inferior later stuff. And what is a greatest hits without Crazy or Titanic Reaction?? Buy the first two albums, which are available as imports!

Don't be fooled by the title; this is one of those compilations dictated by song rights etc and not by quality. The great songs from the first 2 albums are only here in live versions, while you get loads of inferior later stuff. And what is a greatest hits without Crazy or Titanic Reaction?? Buy the first two albums, which are available as imports!

all the songs here sound remastered,great sounding tunes.if your a fan,this is a must have.most of their best songs.highly recommended.
