A Homeopathic Approach To Cancer is a treasure trove of information even for those who do not believe in homeopathy. It's written by a caring Indian homeopathic doctor who comes from a lineage of homeopathic doctors (father, brother, sister) and was trained both in India and in England. The book is a distillation of his 30+ years of homeopathic practice with all types of cancer patients throughout the world and employs the case study approach. Its 9 chapters are organized by topic and are self-contained, thus can be read as separate modules if the reader wishes to do so. It's fact-based, rich in data, and demonstrates how homeopathy can work alongside traditional medical treatments, such as chemotherapy. The book is a diligent compilation of real life examples (126 cases in total) presenting each patient's profile and diagnosis, the details of their homeopathic prescription as well as the outcome of the treatment. It opens up potential new ways to help cancer patients combat their disease, hand in hand with traditional medicine. In any case, lots to gain and nothing to loose by reading it.

Now this is a really interesting book. While the conventional medical community continues to assert more and more boldly that homeopathy is "no better than placebo" here is a well documented report on over 100 treated cases of cancer which resulted in remissions (we never use the "cure" word in cancer) or dramatically improved outcomes using nothing but "those little sugar pills with nothing in them".

We live in a time where the "idea" of science in medicine combined with a whole lot of marketing, rather than the actuality of unbiased scientific exploration, reigns supreme and directs which treatments are considered legitimate and which are considered ineffective. Anyone who has seen first hand what homeopathy can do recognizes what a powerful and unique form of medicine it is, regardless of what "medical experts" say. This book takes documentation of what homeopathy can do in cancer treatment to a new level, a blessing for cancer patients seeking any kind of documentation on effectiveness of alternative therapies. There just isn't much out there.

This is vitally important for patients with a cancer diagnosis. The outcomes of conventional cancer care for most patients and most types of cancer are mediocre at best and in reality haven't improved much over the last 30 years.

I wholeheartedly recommend this book both to patients with cancer seeking a broader perspective on cancer care and to homeopathic practitioners open to discovering an innovative way to apply the principles of homeopathy.

I purchased this book to get a better understanding of homoeopathic remedies as well as to see if this approach could help my ailing relative.
I found the book was replete with details that did little to add to one's understanding.
Previous reviews indicate that the author wrote clearly and is easily understood. I found this not to be the case.
I regret purchasing the book.

I had great hopes for this book and it's conclusion, free of cancer. I followed the path, read the book from cover to cover but after six months Zero, zilch, nada, nothing, cancer markers kept rising. I ended up selling it on amazon.com for a fraction of what I paid for it. M. May
