Book Description

September 1, 1994

Outstanding authorities on Scripture, tradition, reason, biology, ethics, and gendered experience discuss one of the most divisive debates in the church today: the place of homosexuals in the community of faith. Each perspective is explored by two writers, one more conservative, the other more liberal.

4.0 out of 5 stars Beyond Rhetoric and Emotions, July 23, 2004
This review is from: Homosexuality in the Church: Both Sides of the Debate (Paperback)
As someone who is Christian and sympathetic to the difficulties of transgendered and homosexual people, I found the book to be of great help wrestling through the issues. Although a bit difficult to read, it provides interesting discussion questions at the end of each chapter for groups study.
