Good value. yes it does come in a flat box. Not recommended for sitting on. It only holds 125lbs. It can store up to 425 pounds(it says). No instructions on how to put together is sort of a drawback, a little visual might be helpful. There is masonite divider that has to be put into the center cloth pouch; which gives it rigidity. that was a pain as the edges of the masonite can hang up and tear the cloth so you kind of have to work in in VERY CAREFULLY. Then your good to go. I'm going to order another as well. It good to rest your tired legs on, and for storage. that's what I'm using it for. Good place for the remote(s) as well.

If you are tired of looking at all the toys in your living room and don't want a brightly colored toy box. I would highly reccommend this item. This storage solution exceeded my expectations - especially at the $50 price tag. Yes, I can tell that it is not real leather, but at least I don't have to worry about my boys destroying a high priced leather chest. Although, collapsible, it seems like a very sturdy piece. It does have a slight odor (not obnoxious) which is probably from being wrapped in plastic. For the price paid...good buy. I purchased a small one as well and am just as pleased.

When I rec'd the flat box I was alittle nervous but I popped it open in seconds and was ready to use in seconds. It is a great value for the price and looks great.
