I ordered two of these for my sons' reading/game room. I was hoping to have them for extra blanket storage and a table when needed and a place to sit when having extra guests (boys in their early teens.) It fits the bill prefectly! They fold down flat, but are really excellent quality, and I haven't found anything near as nice under $80. My one problem, which isn't really a problem, but I do wish I knew of it before I ordered is; the weight limit for sitting on it is 150 lbs. For my kids that's not a problem, but a lot of their friends are bigger than they are, and I think are close if not over the 150lb mark.
Overall though it is excellent and would buy them again, and I may even buy a few more for the living room.

Bought it from Amazon a couple of weeks ago, and love it. The weight limit to sit on it is 150 lbs, but that's not why I bought it. I can lay my legs on it and it's comfy enough for this price. Also, good for storing stuff in my living room, fold it and put it away when not needed, and looks good w/ my leather sofas. The top padding isn't as thick as it appears. Cushion on top is prolly aobut 1/4" if not smller, but again it's soft enough. It is folding, so it's not made of wood. Of course it's not made for those who want the high-end ottomans w/ wheels, thick layer of cushion, and need to use it as a chair or bigger storage.

This storage ottoman rocks. I was a bit unsure when I ordered it, mostly because I wasn't sure it was quite right for my space, but, now that I have it I'm considering buying another!

In terms of a low-cost option in the ottoman category, it doesn't LOOK like a low-cost option - which is part of what makes it so great. It will blend in wherever you need it to and is easy to fold up and tuck away.
