I am a novice when it comes to engines and cars, but I can understand this book very well! And it will be one of the main things helping me out when I swap a new engine into my CRX! This book really does cover just about every swap imaginable into any chasis... Even gives u great advice on what not to do, such as swaping out a V6 Accord for an inline 4, or trying to swap a fuel injected engine into a carbed chasis... It dosnt go really into detail on the wiring, no schematics, but with the broad options on engines and ECUs, I can certainly understand why, it tells you which service manual you will need to find those in tho, it dosnt leave you hanging there... It also gives u a broad idea of whats in store labor wise, what parts you will need, what you will need to wire (dosnt show exactly where tho), shows u where to get the engine mounts, sub-harnesses, and other parts you will need along the way, and from which cars... Really a great book and I highly reccomend it to anyone who is thinking of doing a swap into their Honda/Acura!

The book is pretty good. A lot of help if you are a novice, wanting to do a swap on your Honda and not sure what steps will need to be taken. I personally am satisfied. I used this book a couple times to help friends with engine choices for their cars and even helped me out when I did a D16Z6 swap in a 91 Civic DX.

Very easy to understand - could be a little more detailed, but for the price, you can't complain.

This is without a dought a very helpful book. has alot of tips and tricks for swapping out your hondas motor. But please donot buy if are looking for a step by step thing. it in infomal but not a step by step. very helpful but basicaly recreational reading. i do recomend it to and honda nut!

This book served its purpose in preparing me for a B16 swap and gave enough information to make sure I was on the right track. While it does not go into depth on all topics I was able to use this along with write ups online to complete my project.

The title of this manual is very misleading: It talks vague theory in the replacement of engines, which might be good for someone who is considering it for the first time. THERE IS NO STEP-BY-STEP procedure included in this manual for any part of the engine replacement procedure.

Not a main tool for the do-it-yourselfer.

Book has some good info, but still leaves a lot of questions. Doesnt cover some of the finer details to actually finish the swap and make it run.

Details the wiring side of Honda engine swaps. Good info regarding OMD1 and OBD2, etc. codes. I learned a lot from it.

I bought this book in Texas and we built a crx with a ls vtec swap this book answers all the questions as far as what will fit what. We added rear disc brake system and also wired the v tec system up. This is a must have for any honda nut it tells you everything, I would not take nothing for my copy of it.

Don't buy. Waste of money. Simply put. You'd be much better off getting factory service manuals if you want to do it right

Disappointing. Says is covers '84 on, but nothing on pre-'88 carb cars, other than a mention that they're orphans. Better advice on the Web for carbed cars. Disappointing.
