Book was received in a timely fashion and was as described or better. Would order from this seller again. Book covered most of the information I was looking for (fuel system diagnostics) but online sites dedicated to this bike are helpful also.

Excellent resource for the older Honda Shadow bike. Thanks for having it available to us! Helpful for the new owner (and possibly the longer term owner of this wonderful motorcycle. Recommend purchase.

Very helpful book for helping with maintenance and repair of motorcycle for which book was written for.

I was very glad to get this manual for the 1986 VT 700 Honda Shadow. Although many items shown in the manual would have to be done by a professional or a person with the correct tools, etc. it gives me a very good over view of what is needed to maintain, service, and repair my motorcycle. I also was very pleased with the purchase price, as it was the lowest around for a brand new manual. Thanks much Amazon

If you have held a spanner before and are not a complete newbie this book will provide you with all you need for the maintenance of this specific motorcycle.

If you are new to motorcycle maintenance (like me) get a more general book as well.

The pictures are clear once you know what you are looking at, but if you don't you may spend some time trying to find the bit in the picture on your bike.

I was able to follow the procedures to get my battery out without breaking anything :) There are lots of photos and step by step procedures from simple to more advanced maintenance on your hog.
